I think any personal justification is needed when buying luxury since you need to feel like it is "worth it to you." However, I am also not a fan of "girl math," which comes across as incredibly misogynistic. There is no equivalent "boy math" and grown men aren't as commonly referred to as boys the same way people call women "girls." I saw a IG video from this Hermes-focused content creator and she said she "made" 30k by buying an Hermes Kelly. But until she actually sells the bag she is not making 30k but spending x amount of dollars for the bag (and let's face it, she must also do the pre-spend so even if she were to sell it for 30k she is still paying that amount or close to it in pre-spend and the retail price). Thanks for another incredibly intelligent and thought-provoking video.
