Even with the Quest 3 priced at $500, VR was affordable (now it's dropped to $430). I don’t understand why people don’t complain about affordability when buying a Steam Deck for $550 or an iPhone for $800, but they do when it comes to a VR headset. With the release of the Quest 3S offering such great value for its price, it has the potential to be a real game-changer in the market.

yeah quest 2 was the same price and it outsold the xbox series x which released around the same time. I know it didnt sell well but still insane that a mainstream console was outsold by a vr headset. well im assuming it did, x and s combined sold 28 million so at least one of them sold less than 20 which is probably the x that being said idk if the 3s will do the same thing it would be cool if it did though

For newcomers, most of them think a standalone headset that under $500 is very acceptable in my experience. People who think it doesn't worth it mostly are: 1. General VR denier. 2. Being fed up by the "Metaverse" buzzword and do not realize that this is just a cheap multi-purpose VR HMD. 3. People know about VR a bit in the past and do not keep up the information, still thinking that you need more stuff(PC, base station, etc.) to make the headset playable.

Q3S is incredible value for money. 299 it's even cheaper than when Quest 2 released ajdusted for inflation (Q2 would be 364$ to 424$ when adjusted for inflation, depending if you consider its release price or 2022 price). Really happy they were able to pull this off! Q3 is also incredible value for money now that it is 150$ off. Besides, VR makes any game 100x more cool and immersive (if its native VR) than flatscreen

The quest 2 has been a solid monitor replacement with immersed and hdmi link. The quest 3s is even better. I got that right away. I have bi-lareral optic nerve hypoplasia and nystagmus. Not having to hunch over when I work means no more pain and I can breath better. The quest 3s will be great with color pass through.

I wish they could have made the Ray-Bans a little better Tech wise. As opposed to aesthetically changing it into clear frames and making slight modifications to the transitional lens. At best they should have tried to increase the battery life which is very poor.

With 128 GB of storage, wouldn’t you be paying $500 to get the 3S up to the same storage as the Quest 3, which happens to be $500? I mean the 256 GB version is $399. The Meta Quest 3 is $499. Price wise, this product makes no sense to me. If it was $299 for 256 GB, that would be better, but as is, no.

Ideally it should've been the Quest 2 Plus and not the Quest 3S.... They released it like it was an iPhone XS Series but in reverse. So weird. Quest Pro is still available for $999.00. Please get your fact checked before spreading misinformation. Also, Quest 3 is absolute fun and productive at the same time. I have tried one of my Friend's AVP and I got bored after using it 20 min. It's clear but that's it.
