To be honest I have travel to all the Nagas inhabited areas of Manipur, Assam, Arunachal and most Indian states. I had never seen any backward places like Eastern Nagaland. Specially Noklak,Shamator and Kiphire. It’s like living in 1960’s. There is no roads for 8 months leaving about blacktop. There is no light throughout the year. Some villages have to walk 60-100km carrying 20 litre of kerosine for lamp. In some villages the only house with CGI sheet is council hall and pastor residence and rest is a house of leaves. There is hunger and poverty where parents can’t effort to feed their child leaving about good education, despite working 6 days a week in field. As a True Christian State western brothers and sisters should have tears upon them. The funds on Nagaland is not generated funds of western Nagas but it was given by Indian govt as a free gift to eat equal distribution among all the brothers and sisters of Nagaland. But sad that when a father give a meat only elder brothers eat the flesh and bones for younger brother. So when younger brother cry out in hunger, the elder brother don’t care. Where is humanity😢 where is Christianity.

The infamous comment doesn't make any sense in relation to the actual demand. The ENPO should straightaway denounce this comment which makes no sense to the rooted obligations.

Eastern Nagaland public demanded for separate statehood but not FNT nor FNTA. After consultation GOIndia offered FNT to eastern Nagaland. And consecutively the GO india asked for comments on this issued, but Govt of Nagaland added FNTA which is not in favour and wishes of the Eastern Nagaland.. Then whose fault is in this regard..

If central government is willing to grant statehood to ENPO. What is the problem with Nagaland?. There is no question of stopping it. But central government is cunningly putting more burden to the state government granting FNT to ENPO without granting separate budget for them is treacherous game. Small state like Nagaland budget to share two entities is beyond imagination. However Nagaland state should not hamper any development fund for ENPO other than state budget. We have seen smooth functioning of Bodoland territorial council, karbi alone autonomous council under Assam state. Sharing small budget to two entities will create more problems. Both cannot develop.

The government of the day should be dead serious about this issue and do the needful at the earliest. The much needed demand and genuine plea of ENPO should not be taken for granted. FNT must be realised without any further because one and half decade is more than enough to test the people of the region. Provided the ENLU, who are elected by the people and entrusted with the responsibilities for the well-being of the people should not stay lukewarm at this juncture. ENLU cannot enjoy two plate at a time. Enjoying all the special privileges in all aspects, the people of the region should Stop blaming others for their backwardness. As a Christian, we also should realise that its a sin to blame others when we are given equal due share infact more than equal share.
