Stands to reason that you need some time to really find your comfort zone and your voice on a show like the Daily Show. When I heard Trevor was quiting there was only one name that came to mind that could follow Jon and Trevor, that was Hasan. This week is really showing that he deserves the show. Hasan is a breath of fresh air for The Daily Show. He has a way of engaging people from all ages and all walks of life. I loved him in his show old show Patriot Act and on the Daily Show back in the day. Now, the fact he attacked Twitter for what it is, priceless! If he becomes the host of the Daily Show I might actually start watching Comedy Central again.

​@@realtalk6195 I don't recommend ignoring one's partner because knowing love and acceptance exist in the real world is vital to disconnecting. I rather recommend setting times with no phones or internet access. It's initially (incredibly) uncomfortable for the person who believes they need their social media, but the rewards are worth it.

I bought this thing called the focus box. Its a literal glas box with a time lock on it to enforce phone free time. There is literally no way of opening it without breaking until the time is up. Its a bit childish but if you both agree on a time its nice there is no temptation.

Hasan would be an amazing host! He ticks off every box of what needs to be a Daily show host. He can be serious and funny within a blink. He can bring inside and outside perspective but also be relatable either way. His anger is genuinely angry and makes us feel the same way. His eyes and very expressive too, which is important to captivate attention. Just hire him permanently!
