The_Trolling_Clone i think its likely going to happen here is why: masterbuilder series started on 2018 2 years ago now,the second one (mos eisley) is coming 2 years later if lego continues the 2 year ratio, we will get another master builder set in 2022 and 2022 is attack of the clones’s 20th anniversary and the petranaki arena was on episode 2 lego might make that the next master builder set but hey,this is just a theory a LEGO theory!

It would be cool if they did a master builder set for each film. Episode 1 could be Theed palace, episode 2 could be the arena on geonosis, episode 3 could be a large scale mustafar, episodes 4 and 5 are taken care of, and episode 6 could be a large playset of Jabba’s palace. Didn’t really think of any for the new films cuz I don’t like them.

I plan on buying this. Side note : the next Master builder series set they need to make in my opinion has to be kamino from ep.2. Yes episode 2 isn’t the best movie but it will be a first time of lego making a rendition of kamino and having endless possibilities of exclusive figures . Just think of the set having about 21 figures including jango, boba, obi wan, Lama su, nala se, other Kaminoans, all 4 of the ph 1 captain, commander, sargent & lieutenant clones. A handful of Standard p1 clones. 2 kamino troopers , clone cadets, a movie based shaak ti & maybe even a sifo dyas. The build can include obi wan’s delta 7 , a highly needed upgrade of jango’s slave 1. Jango’s apartment. The barracks, the cloning facility, embryo room , the medical bay & the prime minister quarters.

Cloud City has always been a bit of a dud set in my eyes, it kinda feels like people were sick of the Death Star UCS playset, so for some reason they released basically the same thing but for a different location. The Cantina looks great because it can still look like an actual build or location, Cloud City just looks like a strange, cobbled together playset that's too rotund to actually display

I'll say this as an AFOL owner of both sets; it's true the Cloud City doesn't look as pretty from afar, and it was definitely overpriced for part count but it also had far more specialized pieces/colors in it (thought not enough to warrant the cost difference). About 60 more finishing pieces are needed for it, and it would have benefitted greatly by adding in a U-3P0 and at least one more Ugnaught and a brown-skinned Cloud City guard since this was a character even Kenner made a figure of. That being said, it was a set that is simply under-appreciated. I assure you, while the Mos Eisley set looks good on display, more people will spend time studying the details of the Cloud City set. It's also far better a set for customization. That being said, I suspect a re-issue at some point will address some of the 'flaws' of the set, maybe in about 8-10 years.

Cloud city is like the death star. It’s a bunch of rooms in the general shape. The mos eisley canteena seems to be film accurate and minifig scale

disagree. i have seen both in person, and have 75222. Mos Eisley feels prettty small and not that big in comparison to Cloud City. Cloud City is more unique. Mos Eisley feels just like an evolution of the previous mos eisley sets.

Not a fair comparison. The 2 sets are totally different. The cantina is one location with basically one or two scenes from the Star Wars. The Cloud city set covers multiple locations and dozens of scenes from Empire. Just because you and others EXPECTED Cloud City to have an outer hull with covers doesn't mean what we got was bad. It is exactly how Lego did the Death Star playset. I guess you don't like that set either, since the sections don't have covers. Lame.

I think the main thing Cloud City has over the Cantina is the figures, especially the dual molded and printed Han Solo, but with the number of molds already in the Cantina (alien heads + dewback), having printing and/or molding would have upped the price. It's still unfortunate though.

I discovered a great way to display the Betrayal At Cloud City-set by adding the LEGO-Art wall mount pieces on the bottom of it so it can hang on a wall (sideways). In that way you are able to see all the parts of the set.

I personally own the betrayal at cloud city and have found a way to decently display it. It go’s some what nicely with the new AT-AT that I just got, and the stormtrooper helmet as a suto episode 5 display.

I think the Mos Eisley cantina is definitely better then betrayal at cloud city for the reason being, we get a Ton of new species with it, and also it comes with extra things like the moisture towers the speeder etc

I think the big thing Lego missed out on with Mos Eisley was including characters from Episode 5 of the Mandalorian. Similar to what they did with the Sequel Trilogy characters in the UCS Millennium Falcon, they could've included Mando, Baby Yoda, Toro Callican, and the droid bartender

I like this new set I am going to get it for sure as it will be a nice start to make a moc actually I am thinking of taking a few of the obi one sets and making a space port to park the falcon in that’s why I think they make it connectable as well as to connect to this as you can configure it all kinds of ways it has enough different parts that if combined could make machine shelf’s and different items that would add to the space port that is what is missing with this set here to make for a complete mos eisley space port

Cloud City is too big of a scale to be put a tiny little set with each room right next to each other, it feels so unnatural. The Cantina is just a relatively small building where everything is small enough to fit in the master-builder look.

I mean, the UCS Endor set from ~2013 fits that role decently well. Honestly, both of the major locations in ROTJ (Tatooine, Endor) are pretty much covered in that department. Endor got the UCS Ewok Village, while Tatooine got two sets each for both Jabba's Palace and the Sail Barge/Sarlacc Pit set piece (9516/75005 and 9496/75020 respectively).
