Hi Haseeb, your videos are like a ready reckoner on repairing and trouble shooting SMPS of any appliance and device. I fall back to your videos to learn and refer. Haseeb can you find a Ultra Sonic Cleaner anytime and troubleshoot its SMPS cause its interesting to learn the coupling of transformer with inductor for operation of the USC. Will wait for you to reverse engineer a Ultra Sonic Cleaner PCB. There is hardly any video explaining the working of this appliance on YT. I am sure your video on the same will help a lot of learners. Thank you for your time.

Thanks for this very interesting video. Now I know, how a microwave works. I came here, because my microwave suddenly stopped working, everything is dead. When I opened it, I have seen that the fuse is black, so I ordered some to replace it. I hope, this will solve my problem, but I`m afraid, it will not be the only problem of this microwave. I don`t have all this aquipment what you have and only very few knowledge about electronic, so I think, I will throw this device away, if a new fuse will not solve the problem. My microwave is very old, one of the first ones, that were sold in the 80th. I don`t like to throw it away, but repairing it by a professional would be more expensive, than buying a new one.

good morning dear sometimes there is only fuse sometimes fuse and some high power consuming parts like magnetron, high voltage capacitor, high voltage diode etc i hope the fuse will only the reason.

Great video and to troubleshooting the microwave first I would like to check if I’m getting 12ov to hv transformer if I’m getting 120 v to transformer I will know the problem is with high voltage components if I’m not getting 120 to transformer I will know that i have problem with low voltage like door switches or fuse or ….

Very good instructions, Question I own a commercial microwave oven, Samsung CM 1927 and its 1850w When switching on by plug switch I can here a quite hum,and when I start it up to cook the hum dose not get any louder just the same quite hum , Is this normal?

Dear Haseeb, my Sharp Microwave Oven is making noisy sounds with the magnetron when reheating food. The cause of the noise is due to over 9 years of daily use and the cooling fins of the magnetron are loose and shakey. I believe the fins will fail to dissipate heat and the magnetron will damage very soon. I have a good Panasonic microwave magnetron that I kept years ago when I bought the new Sharp microwave oven. Now, the question is : Is it safe to use the Panasonic magnetron to fit into my Sharp Microwave Oven and reuse it even the model numbers of both magnetrons are not the same, but the sizes are almost identical, and it can fit into my Sharp microwave oven. What are the worst case scenarios(explosions?), if the Panasonic magnetron is not compatible with the Sharp's microwave oven? Your expertise on this is very much appreciated!

mine has a very odd issue, when its been working a while and lets' say either loses power in the house or comes unplugged for a hour or so, then comes on, none of the button work, they just beep, cant cook nothing, it has to have constant power for about an hour then the buttons start working again, kinda like a capacitor having to build up power first or something else, i dont know alot about them
