The opener to this one earned a subscribe. Nice work and tips to boot. Not seeing a downside here.

I watch your videos all the time, and I love them. The lines where the rear clear parts join to the fuselage, are also fictitious. I built 7 of the Hasegawa P-40’s, good kit, but they do require some work.

Yeah I fixed the rear seam line in the video but didn’t realize the clear part needed corrected till you pointed it out...thanks!

What didn't you like about the paint job on the first one you built? It's a good looking plane, love the big mouth intake. Do all hasegawa warbird kits have that moulded on prop shaft,, I'm gonna put some bearings in the Ju87, and make a new shaft,, I'll do a video on it, when I get into it. Get well buddy.

I agree, that previous P-40 looks great! I bet if you offered it up for sale, someone would buy it.

It was built a few years ago before I learned how to do stuff. Looks bad compared to what I do now. I’m sure a few years from now I’ll say the same about my current builds...always improving. I’m glad I showed it though, some sucker paid me lots of money for it! Yeah, the hasegawa has the post for the prop. Rather rudimentary for an otherwise detailed kit. Ok with me cuz I don’t normally show engines n stuff. The bearing idea is a really good idea...seemed to work well with the motor attached on your last one.
@clonefox804 жыл бұрын
@@seanerk5kt9 yeah the bearings are cool, I'll put a couple in Ju87, maybe a motor too, I don't know haven't decided yet. Love my Primed t shirt by the way, little big but my wife is a genius on a sewing machine..

When you use Testors putty to fill wing roots, how long do you wait to smooth it out with alcohol? Fully dry or right after application? I think Testors putty is underrated! Definitely has its uses. Thanks!
@seanerk5kt94 жыл бұрын
A little bit of both. Usually a quick swipe right after application just to get it where it needs to go then after it dries, I smooth it a little more. If you try to do too much while it’s wet, it tends to get removed instead of smoothed.

Great tips for the fuselage and exhaust stack panels! I have this kit, so the pointers will definitely be of use. I want to thank you for the slurping, it always relaxes me gets gets me ready for a great video. Did you attend a school of focus and meditation to learn this technique?
@jodypombrio54724 жыл бұрын
Also, you built this model really fast. Is it that good of a kit? I seem to pick the ones that are a real pain to put together.

I learned my meditation techniques from an 80’s Richard Simmons VHS tape I dug out of the closet. And yes, it’s a pretty easy kit.

The first one I built I did the tail as the instructions would have you do it and I did have a pretty big step to deal with. I love how 10 butt-puppets were triggered by your coffee mug. They know they'll have to choose between an old, senile crapitalist kiddy-diddler and an old, senile communist kiddy-diddler. As for this kit, I do not yet have it. I have Hasegawa's P-40E in 48th scale, but not 32nd.
