everytime i watch any theory video for shit like anime or games like elden ring destiny etc etc. I imagine this is how half of the lore is created. @brownhag I still think Boruto is Shibai too. The horn. The fact the God of Otsutskis only has one Jougan and it's in the same eye as Boruto. small correction nick, we DID see Hashirama'S healing factor. Madara used it after getting blasted full of sand by shukaku and probably also when plugging in white Zetsu's arm. So we can be very certain it just is passive regeneration

@dogking4393 not at that time. When he fought the tailed beasts, he was fully alive. It was after Obito used rinne tensei. He first almost orgasms about the pain and later when Shukaku paralyzes him for an instant explicitly states it was HASHIRAMA'S healing that made him sloppy

Hashirama and Madara are two different people. Also, having Hashirama's cells doesn't mean you can utilize the ability. Obito could also heal wounds... does that mean his healing is on par with Hashirama's? The man was a Chakra monster with complete control over his Chakra, his healing is on par with kcm at best.

@theudilorix7302 fair, however, he attributed his healing explicitly as Hashirama's healing and given he spent like 20 years or so battling the dude, I'd trust on Madara identifying Hashirama's healing or at least deviations from it, if it was as distinct as the Shinju's. Even it just is getting stabbed by wood without teleporting to a divine tree. So I think Hashirama simply had a mad regeneration.

During rasenshuriken training Yamato explains his wood style being that he combines water and earth style to create wood and Yamato is just using hashirama cells so hashirama probably created wood the same way, not using divine tree

TLDR; Hashirama’s “sage mode” wasn’t him absorbing nature chakra, he was channeling tailed beast chakra that he’d absorbed through his wood release. Wood release having the innate ability to absorb chakra draws a direct connection to divine TREES (specifically their roots) and their purpose in absorbing the chakra of a planet to create a chakra fruit.

There is one issue, it is stated that wood release is able to suppress their will or calm the tailed beast down, not absorb their chakra. Instead, suppress the chakra.

I can get down with this. Hashirama’s face markings do kind of resemble Otsutsuki markings. I think the dot is very similar to an eye. But what about his markings around his actual eyes? What if they symbolize horns of some sort? If you were to move the markins around the eye up, and maybe rotate them, they could be seen as horns. Fairly similar to Hagoromo and his horns and third eye

Episode 10 of Boruto does pose the idea that Hashirama cells have the ability to absorb Chakra, it even links it back to his wood style. Go check it out ppl, this was already hinted at. It's around the 3rd quarter of the episode where Naruto, Shikamaru and Sai are in the Hokage office discussing incidents were ppl have been drained of their Chakra and linking it back to wood style! The idea of his wood style being linked to the Tree thou it's a stretch but it could be possible.

My hypothesis about Sage Mode in general is that all nature chakra derives from Shibi, whose energy powers the Divine Tree on earth. This theory makes sense, and explains why Hashirama was ridiculously broken. Cause neither Ashura nor Naruto started off as the more powerful of their respective rivals, nor where they seen as their equals until later in their life when they were fully realized. However, Hashirama was always more powerful than Madara (even in their youth) and always had to chase him in power (atleast until Madara was revived and became a 10 tails jinchuriki then he was the stronger one)

All of this makes sense, however, the fact that Hashirama is a reincarnation of Asura perplexes me because the character and fate of Asura seems to be passed down to Naruto and seems skip Hashirama's generation for some reason. Like how Asura needed the help of people to become stronger and overcome hardship, Hashirama seems to be capable of doing literally everything on his own in every battle and in every endeavor without much effort. The most times he's been through is with his fights with Madara, and he stomped him every time. That's another Naruto plot hole for me.

Hashirama is a forest sage, who is a direct decanted to the very first shinju from the first divine tree. He also uses photosynthesis to directly and indirectly take in nature energy both through his feet like boruto and through the air like a toad sage. Plus he was the first to accidentally use the planets energy as well but never realized it.

My headcannon for how Hashirama heals himself during battle is basically a cross between Wolverine’s healing factor and the liquid terminator from T2 where he unconsciously heals himself and the wood grows and “blooms” where he’s injured, maybe close to how a living edo tensei would look. I can only imagine how terrifying it would be to use something like scorch or dust release and see Hashirama basically rebuild himself and keep going on like nothing happened, like a stone cold soldier.

Haguromo did have the third eye when he wasn't a Jinchuriki. He had it when he used the Sage mode he learnt from the Old Toad. This was after he revived his brother.

Tbh this makes a lot of sense. Not to sure about the vestigial roots, maybe just the chacra remains and Hashirama is able to harness it. But everything else madr perfect sense, down to the pseudo third eye he gets when he gets serious. All the age theories were farfetched tbh. Props for this theory, hope it pans out.

Hey man this is my first comment. This makes so much sense it’s dumb. I wondered why the sinju and hashirama had the same name. Kishimoto is an evil genius and i think he should take your view if it wasn’t the end goal already and integrate it into the story.

I pose a question, Did hashirama capture all the tailed beasts with wood release or before he learned it? If he learned it during the process of capturing all the tailed beasts maybe it gave him insight on wood release even further given that when all 9 tailed beasts are gathered and fused it creates a 10 tails. He didn't do the latter but he did capture all them and he did have the strongest wood release known to us. Its possible that these characters tie together in ways that could change how we view wood release as a whole.

The question is why naruto didn't get "wood release" ? He's also asura's reincarnation. If hashirama is a shinju with a lot 10 tails chakra isn't he supposed to be way stronger than naruto during the war arc? But he wasn't. Also there was a theory about himawari could be a shinju right ?

Because the first Hokage got reanimated, and you cannot come back at complete and utter full power They all came back slightly weaker, but if they had chakra diseases they were no longer sick

To be fair, hashirama tapping into the 10 tails power instead of regular wood might make sense since moegi has wood style, theoretically the same, but its far weaker. So it would make sense for it to be amped by the 10 tails power
