You did very good! I’m not Jamaican but I’m Haitian 🇭🇹 . Here’s a tip the Caribbeans like to gate keep 😂. Don’t cover the rice until the water looks like it is almost completely absorbed. For the chicken use less water and add water as it cooks. Everything looks great though 😊. Forget the presentation I just know it taste good lol. Try cooking Haitian food next 😇

Great work! A lil trick…. Bowl water with a whole lemon, lime, a nice chunk of ginger and 1 star anise! Let it completely cool and use THAT water as the water you use to clean ya chicken! Starting the seasoning process from even the cleaning stage💜💜💜💜

Aj you did great my man is Jamaican so I’m used to cooking this dish. After I finish frying the chicken then you add it to the gravy it really only takes about 30 mins after the frying process and here is a lil trick I always add a cinnamon stick or two or ground cinnamon try it fire I promise u

Great job Aj on the brown stew chicken only next time not so much water in the pot and you only need to cook it for about 1hour (not 4) and it will still be soft but it won't be so mash up ..... but great job for 1st try 👍
