If the TVC collecting community had the amount of assertiveness as they did "cope", maybe Hasbro could be talked into just including the tiers, instead of only being funded. 3 days left, and hoping to get one tier opened?? Sad. We allow ourselves to be milked, (fine), just stop nickel and diming us. Their plan all along was to give us only 30 days, have this thing end with only the cantina and 3 figs for $4-$500... They put this on the heels of the Ghost campaign. Do you think it's a coincidence?

I wonder if the DIY/3d print people will produce less expensive sets?
@ActionFigureAtorium3 ай бұрын
well. good question. I assume that someone has something already up in rough form in terms of tables, chairs, alcoves etc. But that it doesn't look as good as this. If you look at the small production runs that Empire Toy Works makes of his 1/18 space western diorama buildings, he himself is not that far behind. His prices are luxury boutique thou. I'm going to say "yes, it coming." Some as a challenge, and others as a business potential.
That’s not bad for $19. With my printing skill it would prob turn into filament spaghetti!

The Tonnika sisters are THE figures we've all been waiting for. That said, I won't be getting this set because I just don't have that much money to spend, especially for a toy that I have to wait a year to get.

This will fund. Scoop up the figures second hand when folks get theirs.

Come on, you can't compare this to Playmobil. Tvc is more detailed and the figures are super articulated, doesn't even compare with Playmobil.

If you're comparing TVC figures vs Playmobil figures (Klickies), you're 100% right. I was looking at the playset itself in terms of amount of plastic used, size of the set, and amount of items included likes chairs, tables, glasses etc. Playmobil is older than Star Wars and considered a European import luxury brand. Hard to get and expensive. To me, the Cantina set looks inflated by about a hundred bucks, that's all. Thanks for the comment amigo.

@@ActionFigureAtorium I feel the same. I do collect the figures, so I wouldn't mind paying more, IF they just included them guaranteed. I like space hua's, what can I say.

I think we all agree that it’s way too high. I think it should actually be a little LESS than $300 but that ain’t gonna happen
@ActionFigureAtorium3 ай бұрын
I was thinking less than $300 too but since the Playmobil Enterprise is $300 I thought to play it safe by matching prices. Def should have done modular set pieces for $30-40 ea.

As s[m as saw this 1st thought was this should have been a build a player with each section sold with a fig or 2
@ActionFigureAtorium3 ай бұрын
Great idea. Go modular with it and include different figs with the sections.

I think the Tonika sisters were made a much bigger deal these days due to some other toy channels making them into a big deal around licensing reasons and why we've never really gotten full figures of them before.

The sisters were used as bait to help sell an overly high priced diorama. Shame on you HazLab.

I'm going to say that Hasbro will def re-release any/all Haslab toys at some point in the future. They have to poker face it to make ppl think this is the only chance EVER to get these items. Why wouldn't they re-release something in 5-10yrs? its money on the table. And the ppl who do it are going to be a different team of employees from those who originally managed these toy lines in the first place.

@holeinthegroundproductions933 here on KZbin has a web page where he sells custom dioramas and parts. He did a crowd fund a while back for for the full cantina. IT's great work, and I've had it for over a year, but it's ala carte, cost more than $500, and doesn't include all the cubs and chairs and tables and such. If you're particularly good with 3D printing and modeling and want to start from scratch, or if you are willing to buy the 3d models off of someone else, go for it. Honestly, I don't think you're going to find these complete a set with figures for less than $500. Yeah, that means custom Tonnika figures, too.

upon examining the tables and chairs they did have a cheapness to them which I attributed to them being 3d prints. I'm assuming the factory made pieces will look less garbage, but 100% spot on, it has that look.

I heard that HasLab is keeping the sisters and the bartender as exclusive figures for the set. This is BS and proves that Hasbro is using the figures as bait, knowing that the diorama is overpriced. As far as the tier figures are concerned, it’s a coin toss. The amount of daily backers has dwindled down substantially and I’ve noticed the numbers both climbing and falling. Reaching the 8k target might be a stretch. Reaching 11k is unlikely.
@ActionFigureAtorium3 ай бұрын
@@tigerclaw4537 I think you're right regarding the funding stalling out. I was expecting 16k backers based on how well TVC Mandalorian and Rebels space ships did in their crowdfunds. If they split the playset up into modules and included a different fig with each set, putting it for sale at retail, it might do better. Or maybe folks just don't dig space bars.
