Great video Coach, I would like to point out that I've noticed him and Dennis Rodman both uses a "box-in" technique where, if a three pointer goes up, they would pushes their man towards the hoop/baseline, instead of "boxing out" with the traditional methods. Since most long shots like three pointers lead to long rebounds, they would push on their man's back with their body, and easily have good positioning, and grab the rebound over their man. But they would usually lower their center of mass and use their bodies instead of their arms to push their man, which allows them to avoid a foul call. Really genius stuffs

They both really smart players, and I've noticed recently Andre Drummond does similar things like that to get rebound. But Drummond also adds more different technique to gets rebounds, similar to Moses Malone. He has a quick, explosive second jump, so rather than grabbing the board on his first jump, he would tap it off the backboard to himself, and grab it on his second/third jump, or he can tap it into the hoop if he wants to. Since most players aren't as tall and as quick as him, he can easily outrebound them. Really brilliant stuff, real smart, special players. You don't see this often now in the NBA.

Dennis Rodman always tapped the ball first cos he was shorter than others but only he was relentless enough to jump for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th time to secure the ball

It's common knowledge for many players that the ball is bouncing to the weakside most of the time. But using this in your game and going to the spot is something else. Great reminder and I will try to use this in my games! Thanks for the reminder to use this knowledge!
