Good demonstration, especially showing loading under the silver guide along the edge. I am picking up a 500CM today and coming with a C12 back. Definitely doesn't seem as straightforward as the A12.

I do sorry for the late reply dear, well, if you haven't seen the number 1 or 2 as indicated from that film back's whole, don't worry, in that position just notified you can start and continue, close the door and don't forget to twist the film winding latch counter clockwise to reset the film number to be number 1 [ You can see the number 1 in the round film counter window], Many thanks again for your question, enjoy shooting dear

Hi, Greeting from Bangkok, Thank you for inquiry, your curious is most advantages to our friends as well, well, this chassis named film magazine or film back, the film back [chassis] that can open a hole, this hole just notified the film starting marked when you winded until you can see the number 1 and twist the metal knob the let the film back ready to shoot, before you open this hole, there is a cap that always closed this hole, on the back or this metal cap, there are ASA specified here, its many numbers here, and it's doesn't turn this round cap smoothly, but its can be turn, you can set your film ASA that you used from this. hope this help dear nice, Thank you so much again for your participate and enjoy Hasselblad and photography, cheers!

Dear, Sorry for the delayed answer but I hope your question will be useful for our friends, 1. Do I have to advance the back and the shutter? Yes, you can do this, I recommended that while you are winding the shutter, you have to open the film back's indicator cover window at the same time, when the shutter is cocked, you are release the shutter button! then winding the shutter again and release, the film back will moving to the next frame, repeat these steps while your eyes keep on the film back's window! Carefully and keep looking at the mark on the films that starting from white paper and no mark > black long long arrow > Shorter black arrow > big black dot > medium > small > smallest dot, Please be careful! you are reaching to the number 1 or first frame, when the 1 appeared, just close the window, Don't forget to twisting the latch counter clockwise on the film back side to reset at No 1. now you are ready for shooting. [ In this case, The film is loaded and unwinding, the back is attached with the camera's body and the dark slide is pulled off ] 2. Will the shutter move the next frame? Yes, as following step by steps from above the film back will always moves to the next frame at the same time as film winding on the camera body Thank you so much for your nice question and the alternative films loading on the C12 film backs Best, John
