we definitely prefer quality content less often than shit put out to stick to a schedule. I'd say longtime viewers can really tell when a video has effort put in and when one doesn't so much. the Hat VS content feels like it's made with effort and care, as does Minecraft. to be fair, not every video needs to be high production all-singing all-dancing either, viewers appreciate that. you guys are really nailing it atm, perfect mix of content, with respects quality, effort and subject matter. heart react if you read this? love ya long time

I won a goldfish at my school fair. It reached the age of 18 years. It's not that my parents kept replacing dead ones with new ones. It was a comet-tailed goldfish which was rather rare over here so a dead fish would have been more convenient than to keep finding new ones. Also over time he slowly changed from bright orange to completely white so they'd have to find one that would be at the right colour which was always changing. And most of all I'm sure because my aunt did the trick of replacing dead goldfish with my nephew and niece so I couldn't be tricked since I knew to be careful of it. It learned me goldfish are interesting animals and not the pet they are stereotypically portrayed as. It could hear, it could distinguish who was who or a stranger, it had emotions, it had a personality that changed over it's life and other things that don't align with a cheap pet that swims eternal circles in a bowl. It's probably just another animal that are bread into oblivion and I got lucky that I won a goldfish that was supplied by a place that cared.

I have a hamster, they can be socialised like any other pet. You just have to handle them regularly and bond with them Sadly, much like the fairground goldfish you were talking about, hamsters are handed out to kids like toys which they aren't
@rainydays99675 жыл бұрын
The dog I had growing up wasn’t socialised and therefore didn’t like other dogs. But when I would take her to the park, people who had dogs off leads wouldn’t call their dog away from her, even though I always had her on a lead (unless the park was completely empty). To me, I think that makes the other owner irresponsible, and owners who have lovely social dogs, shouldn’t assume everyone has one.

Chinchilla's don't bathe in water because it can make their fur rot and causes painful skin conditions. Yes they are social creatures and most places won't let you separate a pair. I had 2 chinchillas and they are extremely difficult to look after. You have to have a massive cage and ideally have to let them out in a safe and contained area so they ca n run around. If anyone reading this is wants a chinchilla pair take this as a warning, you have to do the research and know what you're getting yourself into. I was in my mid teens when I had mine and had done a ton of research and still found it extremely difficult. On a positive they are really adorable and if they are tamed correctly they can give good cuddles. Edit: At about 19:00 when trott's talking about how quiet mochi is I can relate. My pup just turned one and for a while after we brought her home she didn't make a noise, no barking at people on the street (through the window) or the TV or even other dogs including my older dog, she gradually started finding her voice and now she barks when she's excited either when I or other family members come home or when she's playing but that's about it. Mochi will probably be the same, she will find her voice eventually. Also My dogs love watching TV my older dog Poppy just barks at dogs and other animals but Luna, my pup, watches everything she full on stares at the TV and looks around the screen seeing what's going on.

funny you mention about fairground goldfish, we have always had goldfish and comets and they usually last about 5 years-ish. I came home from a fair when I was about 12 having won a goldfish playing darts and that fish is still alive; I am now 22. Jimbo is the #GOAT

I had an albino hamster. The first time I held him he bit me and me being like 6 at the time, slapped and he fell onto the floor. I felt bad so I picked him up gave him a little stroke and put him back but after that day he never bit me again. He and I developed a great bond. He even learnt to come to me when I called him. He was cool.

I find editing is very noticeable in two situations: 1) When there's obvious mistakes (dead air, mistimed audio, etc.) or 2) When there was obvious effort put in (your vlogs, cutting to visual/auditory jokes like Tom's channel often has, etc.) Outside of those two, I don't feel the average viewer is going to be paying much attention to things like switching cams or how well the plethora of audio is synced up and spaced apart. In this day of KZbin, I feel like a lot of people take that level of editing for granted when watching.

Well, about those baggie gold fish... I had won a gold fish in a little 4oz plastic cup of water at a local carnival, it was dark out so those fish had been sitting there presumably all day. I took that bad boy home, stuck him in a super generic glass 'fish bowl' and he lived for 6+ years. Until we eventually decided to let him go in a river cause we couldnt be bothered with this goldfish any longer. We had also anticipated the fish not lasting a week...

One point: They're not "Red setters", they're Irish setters. They're definitely not capable of killing a deer, they're pointer dogs, they find birds, point them out to a hunter, and then retrieve them. Well, they might be able to kill a deer in a pack, but it would have to be a MASSIVE pack.

The first pet I owned (going from memory) was two hamsters. Now I was six so I had no idea that you couldn't keep certain types of Hamsters together otherwise they fight the other. At first and for a good few months all was good but one morning before school I see the sight of a headless hamster and another hamster just sitting there nibbling. Breeder versus shelter:: It depends on the person. Don't shame people who buy from breeders just because there are shelter dogs available. If you get your dog from a GOOD reputable breeder, you get predictability. You know what health issues you're going to get into, the basic personality of the dog, the basic temperment. When you get a shelter dog you could be getting literally anything, from every nightmare health issue you've never ever heard of to outrageous personality issues that make you and the dog very incompatable. Not everyone has the ability to prepare for that, or take care of that. That said, there are a lot of unhomed dogs out there, and you can win the luck of the lottery and get a perfectly good shelter dog, just make sure you're in a living position where you CAN manage if it isn't the most perfect wonder-dog. ( I've had both ) Also TROTT PLEASE DONT CUT MOCHI'S HAIR. Age doesn't matter. Double coats get ruined if you cut it short. You CAN just have the groomer do a small scissor cut to neaten up the hindquarters / stray hairs on the belly ect, but don't cut it short!
