I've been following this channel for a long time. And with each post, I get inspired in different ways. I learned to draw from this guy. Simple method and great final impact. Perfect technique. Thank you Peter!

Hello Peter, you are really my inspiration. I tried from two days a lot to observe and draw like you , and the face looks like the person but not exactly. So please could you make a video about it how to practice more effectively about positioning with observation and without measurements. Please make one video about observation for begginers

I think the idea of 'drawing without measurements' is a bit misleading. People interpreted my way of drawing that way, but I put the term between quotation marks in the title of one of my videos. To end some of the confusion, there is always measuring involved, but because of experience/ ease of execution it might not look that way. I would practice by carefully measuring the features (like this kzbin.info/www/bejne/qamZqHaqbbWegc0 ). Along the way you can approach it more loosely (like this approach kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4SZqp9pm5yGr6c). If you start by trying to skip these careful first steps, I'm not sure you reach the point that you want to reach in your drawing. I try to combine accuracy and looseness, that might be confusing. One has to develop both in different stages of ones development I think. I'll make a video about this, in which I explain this further.

You have such an innovative and creative style of sketching. (I am as timid as a mouse when I try to sketch.) I was wondering whether you have seen the KZbin videos by ARTY COATY and Polina Bright? Both of these artist use only hatching and cross-hatching in their portraits, although their technique differs from your style.

I had seen Polina Bright on Instagram, Arty Coaty I didn't know. Interesting artists. Arty Coaty is in some ways closer to what I do, in the beginning of the sketches, although I am not into ipad sketching myself.
