Tony K. You can be the teams dressing room attendant. It's similar and you don't travel with the team, you only do the teams' home games. There was a footage showcasing a guy doing that for Nashville Predators during all-star 2016.

Dude you're probably talking a few thousand per player! Those sticks are about 250-300 each, he said some guys take 11 so that about 3 grand just in sticks for 1 player!!!

I’m actually going to college for the next 2 years to hopefully become an equipment manager in the next few years. The Preds are one of the sponsors in our program and at our University, so the school has connections with the team. It’s just a matter of getting through the next 2-3 years of school and being the equipment manager for our basketball team.

You mean "Like sleeping? Don't take an NHL job". haha. In all seriousness, majority of NHL jobs in hockey ops aren't open to the public. You work your way up to the NHL, you would have known what the job entails years before you get there. The NHL job is probably the easiest. Yes, there's more stuff to do but you definitely get more help. Anything below the pros, you're the only person doing a 3-men job often with minimum help.
