Thank you for your concern. You are correct. This air rifle dispatches 25 foot pounds of energy and has the potential to inflict serious damage!
@MrDeathd11 жыл бұрын
If you take the pellets put them in a socket to hold them and drop a bb in the back give it a light tap to flare the skirt alittle it helps engage the rifling improves the accuracy I was holding 1.5 inch group at 100 yards with the same pellets, they are my favorites ,also check out mr. hollow point pellets, and hunters supply for another opion
@CraneHard11 жыл бұрын
You are correct. That is what others have reported but I have never chronied mine as of yet. Any measurement between 25-30 ft lbs at the muzzle is potent based upon a target within a 25 yard range.

Mr. Hollowpoint has some serious pellets! I have to try that with the bb's. Thanks.

you are correct this thing is a beast! i have the 125 sniper in black synthetic stock in .22cal i have a prochrono digital chrony and here are my numbers..GAMO HUNTER 15.43GRAIN : AVERAGE 923FPS,EXTREME SPREAD 12,STANDARD DEVIATION 4 and 29FPE..JSB DIABLO 18.1GRAIN : AV 831FPS,ES6,SD2 AND 28FPE..the 25cal is suppose to get 31FPE with the right pellet,its amazing! PCP power from a break barrel rifle,not only they are powerful but also very accurate,i mounted mine with a center point 4x16x40AO adventure class scope,it works great...i recently bought the 125th tumbhole stock,(its still the mail)in .177cal..i'm a bit worried about the pellets going supersonic and cracking like a real firearm,also because of the 125th powerplant which is the same as the 125sniper that will make the .177 shoot so fast that it might throw off the accuracy,i bought it to take back to my country for my dad in the caribbean,they still follow the British rule and wants nothing bigger than .177cal so i had no choice,i also have the Hatsan striker edge .22cal i paid $106 originally $119 with 11% black friday discount from Pyramyd Air..great rifle very accurate and powerful..it average 788FPS and 19.74FPE with CROSMAN HP 14.33GRAIN,thats big power for $106..i believe Hatsan best break barrel air guns are the (PCP) BT65 (25CAL=1070FPS,55FPE JSB EXACT KINGS 25GRAIN)(heard it groups well at 100yards),THE 125,mod 95,striker or striker edge,and the most powerful break barrel pistol on the market the MOD 25 supercharger! Hatsan airguns outperforms most air guns on the market costing hundreds more,HATSAN stands by the logo SERIOUS,SOLID,IMPACT... hope this postings helps for all the readers,safe shooting everyone!!

sorry the PCP BT65 does not falls under Hatsan break barrel airguns,but still a great rifle to which i had the pleasure of working with and will soon own one day!
@CraneHard11 жыл бұрын
Nice numbers from the chrony! Mine still shoots like a bazooka.Yeah, the Hatsan's are pretty good all around.
@Islandboi82111 жыл бұрын
Yeah I love shooting them,even the cheapest ones lol

My 125sniper .22 is a vortex gas ram not the spring version,shoots smoother with way less recoil than the springer and that held a lot with accuracy,it's still doing almost the same numbers to when I first bought it,I'm just worried about the long term durability with these gas rams over the springer,I guess I'll just have to wait and see,I'll keep you guys posted

Update: After 1000 shots, still shoots like a canon. However, both cheek sliders cracked and the adjustability of the cheek piece is no longer functional. Had to junk stock scope as it would no longer hold zero. Consequently, added a new Leapers scope and that one only held zero for 250 shots. So I'm back to the open sights and my favorite (most accurate) pellets right now are the JSB Exact Kings 25 grains and Gamo Rocket Pellets 20 grains. I will try the Predator Polymags in 26 grains since the other pellets mentioned above have little expansion on impact. I really want to mount a scope so I can see what it can do out to 40 yards.

late reply but try the TruGlo 4x32mm scope

does it work yet? how many pallets have you fired from hatsan 125?
@diesect337 жыл бұрын
Optima is hatsan yes. I want this in black.
@CraneHard11 жыл бұрын
I wasn't really thrilled with the stock scope that came with combo pack. I removed the scope and have been using the day glow sights ever since. Using the JSB King 25's and inside 35 yards, you should have no problem pulverizing your target. I have over 400 shots on it without any problems or regrets. Mounting a better scope on it should work very well.

Very nice , you will see with time it will be smoother. I find the PCP arrangements, are more accurate for my shakey hands. Will you be pesting, or hunting with this baby?

Thanks. I have already dispatched a few pests but am mainly using it for target practice.

I want one for squirrels and what-not. Most of what I read seems to indicate the .25 would be better than the .22. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
@CraneHard9 жыл бұрын
+Jason33784 Either caliber will drop the squirrel.
@injairgun8 жыл бұрын
+Jason33784 As Crane said both will do just fine for squirrel. Both are also very forgiving if you miss your shot placement , not so if you were using a .177. The .22 is great for squirrel, birds, and anything up to about a woodchuck sized animal as long as you know your limits with the .22. The .25 however is much better than the .22 for downrange energy. Out of the gate these Hatsan 125's and 135's are getting up to 32 pounds of muzzle energy depending on pellet weight and muzzle velocity. Hatsan uses lead pellets for their tests and what the print on the box for velocity is pretty spot on.

Hi' i just got this gun in the other day' put about 120 shots in it' than i noticed that when i try and cock the barrel back' that right when its supposed to click or latch' it doesnt want to and the barrel just springs right back' than if i slam it back really hard than it will catch and hold' but it wasnt like this at first' in the beginning it would just easilly latch when cocking the barrel back' and also theres 3 pins at the back of the gun right above the trigger and below the scope on the main frame' and the very forward pin just slides out' have u ever witnessed these problems? Do u suggest something is wrong and that i should take it back for repair? Hope u can get back" thanks.

Would you recommend this gun for long range hunting with a better scope? How is it holding up so far being you've had it for a while? Still accurate?
@CaptainKarate11 жыл бұрын
NO!!...it is a real rifle!! Anything that discharges a projectile with sufficient energy to dispatch small game can maim or kill when treated as a toy!! As a lifelong air gunner and NSRA RCO, this kind of attitide never ceases to annoy and deeply concern me!!

please help i want to buy this rifle but i dont know what version barrel sould i buy...6.35 or 5.5????how many distance 6.35 can go???? please helpppp
@CraneHard11 жыл бұрын
You cant go wrong with either caliber. I picked up the .25 because I already had a .22. If you can mount a scope on it, you should be able to add some more shooting distance. I use the day glow sites up to 20-25 yards.
@petet9567811 жыл бұрын
Crane Hard the .25 caliber can go over 75 yards if you have a scope????i will buy the .25 caliber if it can go far enough....it all depends from your answer...!!!

petet95678 At 75 yards, I like the Benjamin Marauder. I don't have a scope on the Hatsan so I cannot really say.
