Apart from the author names or the alphabetical orders, I have a simple explanation for this song. I think this is song about his/her (could work for both of them) who inspire the author to write this song, which the title could be describe as "From You" in From Y and to Y could be describe as the last lyrics which is they ever met again, so to Y could be also "to You" again. In conclusion is like a hope song for each others in love, not a breakup song (true that this is more like a breakup song, but in the last lyric, I find these couple still in love with each others, so I couldn't say this is an breakup song). NB : in some nations, such as mine... Y could be meaning You so I hope some people understand about it.

I like the title. From the title alone you can get a picture or glimpse of what the song is about. "From Y" can be taken as an introductory question like "Why?". Looking in a relationship POV, every relationship starts with saying "I love you" to the person and stating the reasons why. "To Y" can be taken as a concluding question. From the same POV, a divorce or a break up needs an explanation. So, "From Y to Y" is like a summary of a relationship; from the start to the conclusion. Beautiful.

This is a story maybe, about a girl who has a parents who have high hopes for her and forces her to study well and to only think about success.
