Looking back Karens acting is absolutely incredible. Probably the best child actor I have seen. You honestly can't even tell it is acting.

I can't believe it either - these are obvious OTT scripted gags for an adult audience - eg. 'guest of her magisty', 'Croatian plumber', 'mouse funeral blessing', etc & look too neatly scripted to be spontaneous from kids that age - 6 & 9? - or even from adults.
@tmajuru55911 ай бұрын
@@fraserct533 No matter what, these kids have talent. Whether it's scripted, and they learnt all their lines while remembering to nail both comedic delivery and timing or, they made it all up as they went along. Both are pretty impressive for a 6 and 9 year old whose average attention spans are typically in the milliseconds.
@jacobmassey389711 ай бұрын
That was a lie the producers made up. These kids were actually given scripts and only improvised a small amount of dialogue.

Reminds me of one time at school when my RE teacher sent me outside to stand in the corridor, a common punishment for kids who were playing up/being disruptive, etc, just because I would ask awkward questions he couldn't answer. I wasn't intentionally being a smartarse and I was very polite, but he got annoyed because all the other kids thought what I was saying was far more logical and made much more sense than what he'd told us. As I was standing there my history teacher came by who I'd always liked and in contrast to the RE teacher always welcomed my questions and desire to learn. He was surprised to see me as I had a reputation as one of the nice, clever kids who never got in trouble. Curious he asked me what I'd done to get punished. I explained I'd pointed out some things in the bible that made no sense to me. One was: It says 'An eye for an eye' but also 'Turn the other cheek' and I'd pointed out that meant God had contradicted himself and if so didn't that mean he was fallible? If he could make mistakes then we why should we believe everything he says? Another was that the RE teacher had said God sacrificed his son, Jesus for our sins. So I asked weren't God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost all one? He agreed, so then I asked him if God was immortal? He confirmed he was. So then I pointed out if God and Jesus were one and God could never die then Jesus was also immortal, which in turn meant dieing on the cross wasn't much of a sacrifice since he knew he wasn't really going to die. My history teacher laughed, said I'd made a good point and told me it's always important to question things that don't make sense! The next week the same thing happened and again my history teacher went past. "Sent out again?" he asked? I nodded and he asked what for this time. I explained that I'd asked if God had made everything. The RE teacher had said yes so I pointed out that meant he'd created the Devil. Therefore ultimately all evil was due to God so how could we say God was good if he'd created the most evil being in the universe? This meant that logically either God was himself evil or had made another mistake proving once again he was fallible. After telling him my history teacher just laughed, gave me a thumbs up and told me to keep up the good work! 😁 I don't think he had much time for religion either!
