Network is magnificent, so well-written and acted. Comedy of Terrors is great fun, with a great cast. Retaliation is superb, with an awesome climax. Love Hound of the Baskervilles, one of Hammer's best. They've knocked it out of the park once again with Deep Red, a simply amazing release. The Wicker Man is another classic, and a great release. I made sure to pick up a copy of Two Evil Eyes myself when I heard that news. I need to see Wolfen again, might be worth a reappraisal. And Bowie's loss was tremendously sad, what a genius he was. Another top update Vez. Take care.

Great Arrow pickups, friend! Spirits of the Dead is an excellent horror anthology, but I think it's not for everyone. The Deep Red release is simply fantastic. Sorry Ex Machina disappointed you. I loved it and it was one of my faves of last year. It was a long time since I have seen Wolfen, but I remember I liked it. I didn't like Malavita, however. Luc Besson is a hit & miss director, but unfortunately, he made more misses than hits. I was in disbelieve when I heard of Bowie's passing. He died way too soon. Take care, Vez!

+CinemaniacSeventy7 Thank you my friend! I got even more excited about Spirits of the Dead after I flipped the cover around and got a better look at it. It's one of the coolest covers in my collection! Sorry to hear you didn't like Malavita, I've still yet to watch it. But yeah, Luc Besson is very hit & miss. Yes, it felt so unreal when I heard the news about Bowie. I thought he was an alien and was gonna out live us all... ;) But thankfully his art is immortal... Take care too Donny. :)

I'm a huge fan of Massacre Gun and Retaliation. Both are very good. Hasabe has a very distinct style. Hasabe also directed 3 of the Stray Cat Rock films (all the good ones of course.) I need Coffy. Sadly I missed the Deep Red limited edition. Aww, man. Wish I knew about the slipcover for Cannibal Women. Missing that makes me sad. I had no idea that edition of Wicker Man existed!!! I neeeeeeed that. Hell yeah! I got that Lizard in a Woman's Skin limited edition also. I picked up Ex Machina also, but haven't watched it yet. I own Two Evil Eyes on DVD, but I got this guy feeling that Arrow is going to release it. I need to get Wolfen. And The Great Race is another one I want. Showdown in Little Tokyo is the only Warner Archive title I own. I thought Haywire was okay, but fuck that lady can't act and neither can the lady they dubbed her with. Really a shame that Bowie passed, that dude was unique as fuck. I admired his audacity and forthrightness. Maybe the light keeps turning off because it is overheating? I know it's a silly thought. This was a great haul too.

+skinslip The slip for Cannibal Women might still be available. It's probably not very fast selling title. I just got Evilspeak today and it had a slip too (even though that one came thru Amazon). Yeah that edition for Wicker Man seems pretty awesome! Avoid the Zavvi steelbook though, it's missing all the extra discs. Hmmh, damn it if Arrow are releasing Two Evil Eyes... gonna be another forced double dip! I want to get Showdown in Little Tokyo too, just waiting for the right price. Waiting to get The Hunger at the moment, had to order it immediately when Bowie passed, cos I was afraid it's gonna go OOP. Haha, I didn't realize (or then I forgot) that she was dubbed in Haywire. That's gonna be an interesting watch... Hmm, LEDs do not generate much heat, so feels strange if it would do that. *shrug* I got two lamps that are the same and use them when lighting my videos, the other one never turns itself off. Really strange malfunction!
