I have often admired your phenomenal parenting skills: you’re very patient and attentive with James, teaching him every moment while still encouraging him to explore and learn on his own, and especially be a child with all their wonder over the new world for them. I’m glad you shared with the viewers one of your tips on how to do that. I hope you’ll share more of those parenting tips in the future; you really are an excellent parent.

I lost a dear friend when we had to do a 9 hr trip from Avila Spain to Brittany, I was not allowed to feed my 2 yrs old apple slices when she was hungry cos they were teaching their 2 yr old not to eat between meals. I said there is only one day this will happen? Nope, absolutely not, threatened to drop me and the 2 yr old off on the side of the road.......end of friendship

@@jacijoyce2685 OMG, how insane.......I spent my entire life in healthcare.....critical care and I'm shocked that anyone would control a 2-year-old eating pattern. 4-5 small meals would be 100x better than 3 large ones and it would serve the child well for his/her entire life

I've really missed these downloads, four months + since I've seen one due to moving and no internet connection. Now living in Paignton and at last have the house renovated so I can get back to what I like doing best (when I'm not out walking) and that is watching you and James interact. The good news is I have a lot of videos to catch up on over the longer winter months. I see the quality of filming and commentary has remained at the high standards, James is getting more talkative and interacting with his dad a lot more and the high level of interesting material remains the same. The locals tell me you only catch mackerel where I've moved to, I don't believe them (from what I've learnt from you tube and having explored some of the coastline it looks like there are some good bass marks within a mile of my house. Anyway, thanks for posting.
