Nice! I have the exact same one! drill a bolt hole for the ramp. Mine always tried to pop off while loading and unloading.

How does it feel to drive with that thing in the back? Do you find that it's messing with your handling? Did the fuel consumption increase?

Can this be done with a ninja 400? ✨

Would you recommend this mount for a Element with 2WD?

How much movement up and down does it have? I have a different car and it scares me how much it leans putting the bike on
@jacobearnhart76104 жыл бұрын
Probably a ton. Was moving and had 220lbs on a hitch rack and it leans like crazy. The Honda’s are hutch rated for 150 I believe

It has been a while since you posted this. I was just wondering how it worked out in the long run? I hope you take the time to reply as I have a similar setup we wanted to use on our element and I'm pretty nervous about the weight.

Do you think this will work with a ninja 400? Ty! ✨

How's that working? Would that be possible for a small car like a Prius?

Same question I was going to ask

I was thinking of a similar setup with my 2015 crf150f, its only 10lbs more give or take. Do you think it would work? I have been looking around Honda Element Owners Club and many said its hitch weight was 150 lbs but i find that hard to believe as your gram is over 200lbs and went in just fine. Please respond it would be much appreciated.

was wondering about the weight too. i just installed class 2 hitch on my own element for a cargo hitch basket.

I haul my 300lb dirtbike regularly on my 2007 Honda Element SC. Find a hitch that is rated for 350lb tongue weight or 3500lb towing.

Good idea with the hitch. How hard would it be to fab one of those up?
@ElementofAdventure6 жыл бұрын
It should not be too hard if you know how to weld. You could build one that is better quality than the one I bought, but it might not be cheaper unless you happen to have the metal laying around or have the hookup on cheap metal. The one I bought was like $95 on Amazon.

harbor freight has one for under $100. Easier to mod than build.

Had no idea the element had a class 2 hitch

My wife has an element, we are going to be using a hitch mounted rack to carry our e-bikes around. As far as I know elements have a class one hitch. Which also means they should be limited to around 200 lb. I was nervous putting our two e-bikes and rack on ours.

@@BradyRay_333 Compatible with class 3 hitch. 350lb tongue rating.
