It's so interesting how tastes differ. I found Burley Flake #1 to be like smoking air LOL. HB is funny stuff that can smoke smooth one day, and hit like a ton of bricks the next...always a surprize!

+Matches860 Interesting, indeed! Oh, well, that's the spice of life. No, wait...Perique is the spice of life!! :)

+hauntedtank75 Speaking of smoking air...I've currently smoking a bowl of McClelland Matured Virginia #25. Not much to it...disappointing.

+hauntedtank75 I tire very quickly of McClelland stuff as a rule...except maybe Frog Morton.

You're doing yeoman's work my friend! Yes, by braving the BF series first this would taste much smoother than coming into it fresh. Great approach to expanding the palette. Go hard, then everything else tastes easier.

I love haunted book shop. Big and Burley is great too.

+Mets 2016 Haven't tried the Big and Burley yet. Would you say it's a stouter blend than HB?

A little bit more.

Eddie, Your videos are calming and on point. I enjoy this blend. I have plenty of Virginia/Perique stored, but I do not have any burley blends. This one, I will order. It reminds me of oatmeal by a light campfire. Odd?

Glad you enjoy it Eddie. HB is the very limit for me. I could see smoking it every once and a while. It is harsh to me... Take care. Clayton

+Clayton Douglas Well, I certainly wouldn't call it smooth, even now. But it's definitely not the harshest I've ever tried any more!

I have, arguably, had one pleasant experience with the Haunted Bookshop- but I havent given up on it. Bought 4 ounces bulk and it stares at me, tauntingly, in its' jar. Nice mountain bike reference- I just got a Stumpjumper 29 for Christmas and am going to get after it when the warmth comes.

+Colin Kelly Nice bike! I ride a GT Sensor 9r Pro (2012 model), and am bound and determined to be back at it as soon as humanly possible once my knee heals.

My knees are what drove me away from CrossFit and onto the bike. Looking greatly forward to new adventures for sure. My current bike is a GT hardtail, but I have failed it. I think the new investment in a great bike will spark me to go hard.
@ThePipeNook9 жыл бұрын
I had a GT Hardtail before this, but a neck injury persuaded me to get a full suspension. It's like a carpet ride by comparison, as long as you stay on the bike!

+Roger Goyer As Yoda said, "No, there is another..." I have yet to try Burley Flake #4, but that will be soon!

I've never found HB to give a big nic hit... a good burley blend though. Try some SG BT#4 for a good nic hit or the C&D Burley #1 thanks for the great vids!

Thanks for watching! I've tried the Burley #1, and boy, you ain't kiddin'!
