Haunted House... A Rare Look at This Spectacular ABANDONED Stone House!!

The Haunted House
The Prescesky house was built in the 1930s by Peter Prescesky as a replica of their Montreal home after moving to the region.
The land was bought by the province in 1972 an they later built Upper Clements Theme Park and opened it 1989. The park was operated by a variety of parties over the years, some having more success than others.
Finally, the park would close for good in 2019 and was then purchased in 2020 by the municipality.
Most of the park was demolished in February of 2022 but the Prescesky house was spared. The stone house was last used as a haunted house as part of the park and still showed signs of this in the otherwise empty historical structure
On March 30, 2023 a fire started at 5:20am. It took 50 firefighters over 6 hours to extinguish the blaze. Due to the copper roof and stone walls, it was difficult to get to the source of the fire. They ended up using an excavator to get into the house and at the source of the fire. The house was completely demolished shortly after.
There are two buildings remaining at the park and both have been heavily vandalised. Someone had saved the bumper cars and was selling them off to interested buyers. There was also a train ride and this was purchased by a farmer in New Brunswick which now runs on his farm.

What a beautiful house! It has great bones and quality craftsmanship. I bet it was gorgeous when it was first built. The staircase is amazing. It’s beautiful from the attic to the basement. It’s a humongous home. What a tragedy that this beautiful home was destroyed by fire. I’m thankful you to document it before it was destroyed. Great video James, I really enjoyed watching it.

I thought you explored this house in the last few months and when you said a fire started and fire crew had to try and save it but it ended up being destroyed, it is amazing that you got to document this beautiful unique place. This is awesome for the history of the area.

It's sad it was a haunted house in the end and left to rot and be vandalized by foolish people then a fire probably started by kids more than likely , demolished😢. Awesome haunted house, the craftmanship is so sweet one just doesn't get that any longer like with the wood flooring and staircases just something, I gasped when you almost stepped into that hole.. yikes good dodge there whew, how about the nice painted rooms throughout just heavenly haha, OK no, really, I liked this place didn't see any ghosts lol, thank you for the adventure and I'm excited for the next one.

This is one of those special ones you just wish had survived. Loved that staircase, the unique fireplace, all the beautiful wood flooring and doors, the retro tubs... breaks my heart to hear that a fire took it. 💔😭 At least you got to film it so it lives on in a way, though.
