Jane ! I love your videos but I'm trying to paint this one rainy cloud scene on tumblr. Basically the back ground is black and there is a teal/grey/white cloud with rain that looks like the stars that you make, but they streak upwards and it made it look like rain. What's the best technique to get that type of rain? Thankkks.

You make me want to paint, and Ive never. I thought a corn shock would have been a nice touch in lieu of a tombstone. Also, some maple leaves, with a crow or two on a limb.

Ms. Jane I have two questions for you... 1st. Can I use smaller canvases instead of the 12 x 16? My board was 8 x 10... 2nd I dont think I am mixing the paint colors correctly... They don't look like yours does... I understand that every person painting is different... But I get very frustrated with how my canvases come out some times... Oh one more question (sorry) If I don't have orange can't I mix brilliant red with brilliant yellow? I been trying to get different colors here and there...

Hi Dara! Yep, you can always use any size canvas you like. Don't get frustrated. Everyone's colors will turn out different. Every time I paint the same thing, my colors come out different too! It's just how it is. You can't expect your painting to look exactly like mine. It will look like yours and that's perfect! Yes, you can mix your orange. I hope that helps!
