1:14:01- Nope, this was her first big acting role. She has done many interviews regarding how terrified she was taking on a lead role, and I will just say this, she blew it out of the water. She is amazing. So amazing that she was the lead in Bly Manor, Mike Flanagan couldn’t pass up on casting her again.

When Nell is back at the house and she sees all her siblings and husband, it isn't a "last goodbye" thing at all. It is the house tricking her into staying and killing herself by making Nell's family say everything she ever wanted to hear from them: that they believed her (no one ever believed her about the bent-neck lady), from Theo that she was sorry (after the fight), from Luke that he was clean, etc etc, and she wanted her husband to be alive. It was all a trick to coerce her up the stairs to hung herself, and you got it with the necklace/rope thing.

Mike Flanagan has created some of the best horror series I've ever seen, so I'm so happy to see you watch this!! Midnight Mass is my absolute favorite if you enjoy this show and you're interested in seeing him take on horror tied into religion.

Midnight Mass for sure has the best one shots/monologues....Every show is different but all of them deliver tremendously. 💜

This is THE best show Netflix has produced so far. And I say this as a huge fan of House of Cards, Dark, Stranger Things, Midnight Mass and several others. But Hill House is absolute perfection.

Dude, I'm so so happy you decided to take this ride (despite your "chickenshit" nature). Flanagan is a master storyteller - horror just happens to be his chosen language. :)

If you want more than just a horror story, Mike Flangan is the man for you. Not only are his series scary but they are written so well. This series is loosely based on a book but the way he creates a new world is impressive. Also what I love is as Steve says in the episode is that "ghosts" can be different things and Mike Flanagan really dives into that premise and all the ways being "haunted" can mean. This series specifically is just a layered genre and story besides just being a horror show. As a writer myself, this series is genius.

This is one of the best things ever put on television. Believe me. The first couple episodes are a bit of a slower build up, but then it will just blow your mind.

Mike Flanagan is a genius at making horror. You should definitely react to more stuff from him, i recommend his newest "The Fall of the House of Usher." It's not as jump scary as this one, but it's more disturbing and gore-ish.

When you have the time you HAVE to give American Horror story a chance. At least the first 4 seasons. It might seem like it focuses solely on horror and the scare but there are so many good storylines and mindfucks. Especially in my favorite season, season 2.

theo, nell, shirley and liv are not all sensitive in the same way. when liv was talking to theo about her ability she mentioned her own "color storms" and headaches, shirley's dreams and nell's well... everything. theo is the only one who has the touch sensitivity.

The amount of storytelling you pick up on & can remember is honestly refreshing compared to a lot of reactors I've seen who forget important plot lines almost immediately after they've been introduced! Great vid as always, thanks for putting up with all the jumpscares in this one lol You're doing great work!

Can't wait till you react to episode 6, is directed beautifully ❤ Also, if you're looking for another show by him that isn't as scary I would recomend The Fall of the House of Usher, inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's work!

So excited to see you reacting to this. 🖤 We binged it earlier this year and I loved it for so many reasons -- the writing, the plot, the coming-together of all the pieces, the videography... Not to mention the supernatural aspects, which I also found fascinating. Looking forward to seeing you react to the rest of the series. Thank you for sharing this with us this Halloween. 🧙🏻♀
