First it actually IS compatible with PS4/5 with an addon. That usb slot on the right accepts either a Magicboots PS4 v.1.1 dongle to get PS4/5 compatibility for fighting games (about $30) or Mayflash Magic X or Xbox One dongle for Xbox compatibility (also about $30). As for Switch, it's compatible right out of the box! No dongles needed. Second, it's normal for that top key on the left to light the thumb button up. They both correspond to "Up" in the default configuration, but you can use the GP2040 configurator to change the layout to anything you want! Also need to give credit to the GP2040 open source developers, who designed the software for Raspberry Pi on which stuff like this runs!

oh i see also in video i said it was compatible with switch did you see the beginning ???? i said you need the brook convert for the ps5 mode or the xbox one as well but that is 50 but thanks for the tip on the magic boot i just used too brook making that stuff i do a follow up video too give credit too people there not allot on this stick on youtube .for the magic boots does it work out off the box for ps5 without updates unlike brook where you need too update the usb too work ?

@@roninstormYT Oops, must've missed the Switch part, sorry! Regarding the PS4 Magicboots, the dongle does not have to be updated (in fact, I'm not sure it's even writable). The only catch is you need to make sure to get version 1.1 rather than 1.0, as there's no upgrade path that I know of. If you look closely, the version number is printed on the dongle itself and is visible through its packaging. It does indeed work on PS5 with the caveat that it only works for fightstick-enabled fighting games. So, it doesn't turn your Haute into a PS5 controller like the Razer Kitsune or Hori Alpha. Instead, it turns the Haute into a PS4 stick compatible with the individual games that allow for legacy legacy controllers, which is all PS5 fighting games to include SF6, MK1, DNF, Granblue, etc., as far as I know!

@@roninstormYT With the Magicboots v1 1 PS4, it's not actually a converter, but simply a device that passes authentication through to the console, telling it you're using a PS4 stick. The difference is doing it this way adds none of the latency associated with a Brook converter or the Mayflash Ultimate converter. Super responsive!

i am not sure i been learning how too do that as well i been studying on videos for that i been trying too figure out how too disable it i been looking on youtube also check out my other content i mostly do lets plays but i never though my first review back since 2020 would do this well wow my other never did this well so i removed them

Just got mine from Aliexpress. I was looking up the link for my little brother so he could get one and saw scalpers already reselling the G12 for twice what I paid for a G13. Get one or don't get one but, don't complain when they're gone or cost 2-3x more.
