i don't think its a bad design i acutely think this is very good as this allows full access to the wipers much easier and prevent any damage to the bonnet.. on most cars the amount of room to fiddle with the wipers is a pain leaning over etc..lol.. I am learning more and more abut my Havel H6 ultra and little things like this make sense its amazing how many little things are in this car to make things easier

I wouldn't say poor design but more brilliant economics design. Why spend money manufacturing a bonnet to accomodate a wiper when the same outcome can be accomplished with software... how cool. Oh and great videos thanks

I don't think that's a design error. That looks like a thoughtful design to make sure no one breaks them. Teenagers and kids sometimes like to vandalise private properties for the kicks.

When you see the number of people or mechanic who have damaged their bonnets trying to remove them and scratching the paint - it’s a design error. Much cheaper to replace a broken wiper blade than respray a bonnet.

@@wimudi Hi Matt, Its not a design error, its made to keep the wiper blades out of UV exposure and for aesthetic purposes. Do you know the wiper blade sizes?

Thanks for the video. Good advice. I am very pleased with my new H6 Vanta. A couple of things I don't like- being unable to permanently turn off the Lane assist. Also that crazy habit of slowing down dramatically on road bends while using Cruize control.
