People! There is no need to be mean or rude! Our job as professional groomers is to make our clients happy. Even if we tell our client what the breed standard is at the end of the day we need to do our best to please our client. If they say they want a checker board pattern then that’s what you do your best to give them. I think she did a good groom here. Maybe not how you or I would have done but at the end of the day as long as her client liked the hair cut who are we to say anything. Just because you yourself are a groomer doesn’t mean you are the best. I see this hateful crap in this industry now and it makes me sick! We need to support one another and stop being so mean! And if you think you are the best then why aren’t you out there being some star? And if you are good then you don’t need to keep telling me. Your work will reflect that you are, When I started in my professional career 36 years ago this stuff didn’t go on. But with the sudden influx of people going into this field for all the wrong reasons I might add (money) I’ve started seeing this hatred come out. It solves nothing people! It only shows me your true colors. Stop tearing each other down. And if you truly are a professional then act like one!!!

Have you seen the other video where she grabs the dogs head?? And every time she seems irritated with the dog the video is cut. This lady seems irritated and in a rush and acts like she doesn't care for the animals. I am not a groomer and I have NEVER left my dogs red or bleeding when I clip them. In my opinion she needs to be investigated!!

I have a havanese and prefer her hair cut this short because it grows so fast and I only do it about 6 times a year. Nice cut imho.

Remarkable technique done by your groomer. Excellent scissor skills. We started our little girl at 3 months at the groomer and she does quite well now. It does depend on whether the "owner"will also put in the work, brushing, bathing and maintaining their coat between groomings. Any matting or other grooming issues, can make for bigger problems later. I learn so much by viewing these videos. Thank you.

Glenda Abelman from the remaining, layered coast it looks like a 4 reverse. But... This is a shave down, not a real groom. All my Javanese are either in proper, free growing coats with beveled feet or in a 1.5" hand scissor puppy cut.

I thought you did a great job and I love the short haircut. How did that dog learn to behave so well? My 1 1/2 year old boy won't stay still at all. Treats help but really slow down the process.

horrible cut for a Havanese. Their coats keep them cool. the feet should always be cut like they have slippers on their feet. I would be livid if someone cut my male Hershey like that. Wow

It’s a poodle cut not a Havanese cut! Much too rough handling and his nails are showing ! I had mine cut in Florida by Four Corners Pet Grooming in Orlando and they were excellent. I live 7 hours from there but whenever I visit I make sure my Havanese travels with me for a grooming. I have finally found a groomer where I live who comes close but none like the one in Orlando. This video is hard to watch. She turned a beautiful Havanese into a poodle.

I feel people are being rude without reason, first off video states hobby groom not by the book, and a lot of folks living in my country area want their fur babies short if not shorter. I think this is a beautiful cut for those people. I myself use 10 around bum.
