I wondered how much was the character vinnie and how much was the real joe in brassic... and I’m both happy and sad to see they’re almost one and the same. He seems a lot happier in real life, but you can tell the loneliness is prevalent in both vinnie and joe, but he seems be genuinely happy with the life he’s built for himself. Seems like a top bloke.

Since watching this is England I always hoped that he would be offered something where he was centre stage. Joe Gilgun is such a natural in the profession. I’d imagine , going by the parts he plays that he’s a really special guy. Caring and big hearted. His acting is second to none. Absolute natural.
