Jack Dee is the black sheep uncle who turns up at family festivities, is immediately at the drinks table, smokes outside and can be heard on cell phone at the bottom of the garden saying, "Now, honey, if you sister saw me with a redhead down the pub, she needs glasses. I never ... no, no, now listen, I never..." He is apolitical (his acidic asides are spot on and hilarious), finds the lad who needs 50 pounds for a new tire for his bike and shoves the money unobtrusively into his jacket pocket, murmuring "Oh, never mind, you have fun on that bike, alright?", when asked about employment, his eye twinkle and he lays a finger alongside his nose, kisses his hostess, waves at the company from the front door and is whisked away by Uber.

Would’ve been good for the show to mention that guy driving didn’t actually have a suspended license and it was all an error.
@johngelnaw12437 ай бұрын
Sort of. He didn't have a suspended license, because he had no license to suspend. His driving privilege had been revoked, and was supposed to have been reinstated, but he didn't file the paperwork. Nor did he actually try to get a driving license. They could have also mentioned that the defense in Hunter's trial maintains he had just completed rehab, and therefore believed he wasn't an addict. Which may or may not be true, as his girlfriend at the time (also a crack user) claimed he was on crack that day. But she's also a bit vague, and uncertain.

There are 650 seats. 326 is therefore needed for a majority, conservatives were on 365 and labour on 202. People are predicting a _massive_ landslide for labour, but I reckon those numbers will pretty much exactly switch. I know your comment was meant as a joke, but they actually talked about why it looks empty in a recent episode of The Rest Is Entertainment - occasionally it is just empty, but more often than not it's just because of the camera angles and the rules that only that room can be filmed, so quite often there are many people out in other rooms or corridors actually voting or doing stuff which is not televised.
