Same here in Central Europe, our problem is emotions and division. I watched Lithuanian presidential election debates and I nearly cried, I was so moved. They weren´t always level-headed and to the point, but compared to Czech and Slovak election debates (and the nightmare that is Hungarian politics), it was like a sea of tranquility. Some debates felt more like brainstorming, not opponents arguing. The good old 1990s when politics was boring.
