honestly, im not a therian or furry, but making the tails and stuff and doing quads is fun :) im 13, and it makes me feel alive again sometimes, just climbing around and having fun, reminds me of when i was 5 and making animal costumes and pretending to be one. it brings me back to a good time in life. though, of course i know im human because i look like one. it's just fun to pretend sometimes, it's very freeing :))

As a child, (mainly because of the The Kane Chronicles, Spirit Animals series, and the Warior cats books that I was using to learn English), I always liked cats and even tried to mimic some of the behaviors. I had a friend like this in elementary school. She would wear cat ears and hiss and scratch people. We all read the warrior cat books and each had our own “cat persona”. It was fun to me! I always had an active mind and childish role play seemed harmless. Once we got to middle school, her and my other friends joined the art classes and created their own fursonas. I chose band, and we grew apart. 8 years later, and I believe she is now transitioning to being a male, but still identifies with the furry community. I pray for her occasionally. Hope she’s ok, and I thank God that band saved me.

People and companies have tried to mass produce them, but you simply can't have quality like that. Some suits having lighting built in, faces, some even speakers and digital displays! I love drawing animals and been called a furry many times, i did like furrys when i was in middle school but not anymore. Ive been in art since 5th grade and i feel even more distant with my fellow artists. Then there are otherhearted people, who still identify as fully human but feel strong connections to certain other species due to involuntary traits or experiences (I'm otherhearted.) Therians and otherkin, on the other hand, actually do identify (almost always only partly) as a non-human animal. Some believe in past lives. This bunch of philosophers created your cult to control how you think. I can name some. Humans don't imprint from other species. We have remnant behaviours from our evolutionary past. What makes us special is we are the only creatures able to think past our evolution's programming. A dog will never know why it does anything it does like humans do. It's like expecting an AI to understand feelings, they can't. I've done a full five year long research project into the origins of this stuff. So i've done more research than Therian Territory ever will know. They only tell you what they're allowed to and probably don't know much more than that. I know the stuff they hide from you. So I know more than Brett too. If TT told you suddenly that Therian stuff was not true, you guys would all turn on them. That's how they keep this going. When I was 13 (now 21), I believed that I was a wolf therian and lived life based on that belief, and I ended up getting a therian symbol tattooed on my chest. Now I am planning on getting that tattoo covered up. My experience with it, and looking back on how I felt at the time, I can say it was more so of an escape from reality and that I was living in a fantasy world. You can believe what you want, but it doesn't make it real.

Bruh. I'm so glad I didn't grow up in the same time when this became a thing. When I was young escapism was reading fantasy and sci fi, using my imagination to write stories, getting into character for a play or musical. Nowadays there's all this weird stuff. I actually really agree with this video as someone who makes masks,tails, and does quads. I personally only do it to be crafty. I am not a super artistic person but i am constantly bored, so when i found out about therians, it just looked fun. I feel like most therians are like me but want to fit in more which then leads them to believe they are an animal.
