@@queenofthenile2485Sandra has done EVERYTHING to her hair she likes the result from these extensions because they aren't as heavy or damaging to her hair. Probably because she eventually found a stylist who is as mindful as you are about causing as little damage as possible. But TBH with you between my best friend & my big sister doing ALL sorts of crazy to their hair, they traumatized me to doing nothing to my hair except trimming split ends. 🫣🤣🤣 Before blue hair was ever "fashionable" my ginger haired sister tried to dye her hair blonde like mine except she went navy blue for 2wks I had to live in a warzone cos my Dad was sending her to school looking crazy af 🤣🤣🌻💙💜🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Yup I tried it, it's something you can do sometimes but not all time. It doesn't per say damage your hair. you will lose a tiny bit, jut over time that tiny bit each time will become a fair amount. I had this all the time for 3 years and just had to stop cause in the end it did damage my hair.

That’s why she used curly hair but she can always or do braid outs or use big rollers to do a heartless blowout . She can do a lot without heat
@teshamiller6001
@teshamiller6001 2 жыл бұрын
Especially since the clients hair is unhealthy to begin with. Even with no-heat methods, it’s still too much manipulation when her hair needs to rest. It’s broken bad and Ik she trimmed her ends, but in all honesty, sis needs a whole hair cut. She has bad splits all the way up the shaft and they’re going to keep splitting to the root and eventually fall out and her hair will keep getting thinner and thinner. Wondering if that’s why it’s so thin now. I notice a lot of black women are afraid of sheers and will hold on to damage just to keep the length, not understanding that it’s making them lose length.

I had some friends as Flight Attendants do this about 10 years ago. Problem is when you leave them in for over 2 weeks and continue to get this done over a year or two. The hair may break off due to dryness, sweating, rubbing the head unconscious at night,& the tape extensions pulling the hair down. Areas of bald spots due to the tape yanking the hair out. Ladies, just grow your own hair in its natural state. How can men grow their hair down their backs in braids/twist; healthy & strong; and women are fighting to keep their edges?? Too much heat & gel junk! Answer: we keep doing too darn much!! Keep it simple & keep it clean......

Great Video 👑 I’m a Cosmo, this method has really been around for awhile. I’m going to the IBS BEAUTY CONVENTION in Vegas at the end of June. There will be demos, q&a, and sellers of the hair there. I also saw a YTber do a method with Ktips but more like on sewn on tracks😳 That was a nice alternative to give more volume/ length. I like the comment of keeping the hair healthy/ trimmed; very important when taking black hair to another state! The model has beautiful black hair👑

With the hair extensions added to such tiny sections, it creates a lot of weight. Plus as the new growth comes in the potential for matting is great. I envision thinning on the horizon.

This style / way of extensions has been popular in the Latina and Brazilian communities for many many years and has gone mainstream now. It is a modernized version of what we called Brazilian knots. What many people don’t realize is the immense damage this style causes to your hair. The breakage at the root when removing the hair and the breakage at the tips because your hair is constantly exposed to the elements. I did this style years ago and ended up with so much damage after taking it out especially as a natural girl. Proceed with caution ladies

I don't mean no disrespect but she seriously needs some deep treatments and more than a trim she literally needs a cut that was too many bad ends that were split and left behind sometimes we have to put the Integrity of the hair ahead of trying to hold onto length

You don’t cut split ends all at once you let it grow for 6 months after every trim and keep it in protective styles
@yaya804
@yaya804 2 жыл бұрын
@@Reasasni nah you gotta cut it all. The hair is gonna continue to split up the shaft no matter what. Just dusting the ends gives you shape but does nothing to better the health of the hair. That's why the "big chop" is a necessity for so many. You have to cut the hair 1/2 inch above the highest splits and maintain the trim every 10-12 weeks with protective styling or 6-8 weeks if the hair is worn out often
