That’s why she used curly hair but she can always or do braid outs or use big rollers to do a heartless blowout . She can do a lot without heat
@teshamiller60012 жыл бұрын
Especially since the clients hair is unhealthy to begin with. Even with no-heat methods, it’s still too much manipulation when her hair needs to rest. It’s broken bad and Ik she trimmed her ends, but in all honesty, sis needs a whole hair cut. She has bad splits all the way up the shaft and they’re going to keep splitting to the root and eventually fall out and her hair will keep getting thinner and thinner. Wondering if that’s why it’s so thin now. I notice a lot of black women are afraid of sheers and will hold on to damage just to keep the length, not understanding that it’s making them lose length.

I had some friends as Flight Attendants do this about 10 years ago. Problem is when you leave them in for over 2 weeks and continue to get this done over a year or two. The hair may break off due to dryness, sweating, rubbing the head unconscious at night,& the tape extensions pulling the hair down. Areas of bald spots due to the tape yanking the hair out. Ladies, just grow your own hair in its natural state. How can men grow their hair down their backs in braids/twist; healthy & strong; and women are fighting to keep their edges?? Too much heat & gel junk! Answer: we keep doing too darn much!! Keep it simple & keep it clean......

This style / way of extensions has been popular in the Latina and Brazilian communities for many many years and has gone mainstream now. It is a modernized version of what we called Brazilian knots. What many people don’t realize is the immense damage this style causes to your hair. The breakage at the root when removing the hair and the breakage at the tips because your hair is constantly exposed to the elements. I did this style years ago and ended up with so much damage after taking it out especially as a natural girl. Proceed with caution ladies

@@giftd18 yeah, but some people like to hang on to whatever length they have & stylists will respect that.

I had this method done in 1994 when I lived in New Orleans, LA. My stylist didn’t have the hair separator so the process to HOURS! It dies last a very long time. It’s easy to remove with the right tool too.
