I appreciate how you addressed those comments, thought you were so tactful and professional. It was a good reminder I hope for any viewers that we are all real people and words can affect us. It was particularly unkind when you are obviously a busy mom and still make time for and generously share free content with the crafting community. I was actually stunned some one would have written negative commentary to you. I have never noticed those things in any video, always think what a natural teacher you are and very well spoken. I appreciate how efficient you are in your videos naturally or with editing as well. It was heartwarming to see so many other people reach out with support and encouragement. Lol how many other viewers like myself also love whenever we can hear your sweet little one in the background. Appreciating you from Canada 🇨🇦

You make these amazing helpful videos for FREE for anyone to watch. You absolutely do not need to feel self conscious about how often you're saying anything or feel like you have to do extra work refilming something because of negative comments. People are free to not watch your videos if they have a problem with you. I know it's easier said than done but please please don't think you need to try to change yourself because of someone else's problem. Most of us love your videos and appreciate the work you put into them 💜

As a Speech Communications major….you sound incredible, your voice, (vocal pauses and all) is a part of you. You are so kind to address the negativity so even keeled. There are many of us who appreciate you and your video’s because they are succinct and get to the point and teach us. Always remember that! Thanks for tip - I was thinking you could use the negative part of the image on a slimline card - that would be cool, too.

Are they, though? Are they really? Were they attempting to suggest something about presentation or teaching tips, perhaps? I dunno! But as an Aussie the loudly presented American accent doesn’t do anything positive for me…. ❤ mind you, I’ve just left a positive comment. BUT once on YT a person does expose themselves to a wide range of appropriate criticism. Unfortunately a small percentage isn’t. Her other options are to turn them off or not read them. Thick skin helps.

Justine, there's a reason the old adage exists. "You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, but you CANNOT please all the people all the time. You are amazing, you are creative. You are enough, you are loved. You are welcomed and those of us who have been following you for a long time. I actually enjoy the fact that you are so relaxed. In your videos, I enjoy the fact that you don't sound like a professional speaker and I mean that in a very loving way. You sound like you and I are sitting in my craft room and we're just hanging out like friends would. Like people who are relaxed would speak to one another. If somebody has an issue with the way you speak, you're right, they can just unsubscribe, they don't have to watch you, you are um... fantastic, and thank you so much for all you do. ❤❤❤

I have not watched the video yet because I didn’t want to forget to tell you that I came over from the “4 ways to emboss” as you requested. And now onto the vid…. This is a great video because I learned something which always excites me after 30+ years of making cards. This is exactly why I watch card creators like you on KZbin. You think outside of the box. I tend to stay in my comfort zone. I like to create a card for an individual as opposed to mass producing cards and its techniques like this that really lend itself to both methodologies. The more techniques I know the more I have to draw on. One of the things that first drew me to watching you is your voice. I find it to be a very pleasant sound. My ears like you😅. I also appreciate that you use your stash and encourage others to do so this is a very expensive hobby in my mind. Unlike anything you have to pick and choose. Where are you gonna put your money. I have stamps that I have never used isn’t necessarily better, but I loved stamp or tool as well worth having. thanks for how well you teach me.

Justine, Please don't be discouraged by what some people say. I know that you are sharing things for the sake of other people, but I also hope that you are making videos because something in you needs to. Focus on doing what you love the best way you know how and from your heart. Others can choose to accept that or not. But in the end, it doesn't matter because you are following your heart. That's what matters. (And, by the way, I really like and appreciate what you have to share. So know that you are making a positive difference to someone. 😀)

People always say "don't take it personally" but it's hard not too when the comments are directly at or about you. Honestly the way a person talks, using the same words over and over or whatever is what makes them, them. It's just part of their personality and you're right, if it grates on your nerves then go find someone else to watch. Personally I've never noticed anything about the way you present in your videos Justine. I love your hints, tips and instructions, they make me a better crafter and I am grateful for that.
