I just took my road test here yesterday and passed, my examiner was 517! When I tell he made me feel so relax and comfortable it made my anxiety go out the window! My test was 8 mins literally around the corner. What I can say be very observant of your surroundings and by means don’t let the examiner hit his or her brakes! 3 other people came with me and we all passed but there is one examiner who has a straight poker face and look mean as hell and was docking points on everyone test. Don’t let some of the examiners face expressions get to you just be confident and you’ll pass with flying colors. They do give you a card to check after 6pm to see if you passed, but honestly after you leave the test site you can go ahead and check, ours was posted before 6pm. But if you get examiner 517 you have nothing to worry about you’re going to pass! Good luck everyone!!!

I took the test here on 11/22/19. I was blessed to have an amazing examiner. We had great chemistry before and after the test. She made me feel comfortable and was very polite but professional. I heard about a miserable woman that works there too so hopefully you won't end up with her. I had to park on a hill too, but it wasn't too bad. I passed with a 90 on my first try!

@@MarthaSanchezBeauty another tip is make all your transitions smooth. Don't slam on the breaks, don't accelerate hard and don't whip the steering wheel. Smooth transitions. Be confident even if your nervous.

Just had a 90 minute driving lesson with the school that sets up the road test for Havemeyer.I dislike the cars(Honda Civic) and when to fix the mirrors to parallel park then having to fix them back in the middle of parking...smh.I take the test on the 21st....this video was mad informative...thanks alot

Bro, at Havemeyer, I had a female instructor. She made me parallel park 3 times. I didn’t have any problems, I did it all in one shot. She kept saying that I’m not allowed to “drive up” meaning to straight out the vehicle after I’m done reversing. She wanted me closer to the bumper of the car in front when I paralleled which is almost impossible 🤦🏻‍♀️ you HAVE to drive up after your done reversing. At this point, I’m starting to think having a female road test instructor is gonna be nothing but problems.

The examiner told me To make a full complete lock of the steering wheel while mirror to mirror and that messed up the parking, it should have been one and a half turn. Examiner messed me up at Strang and it was on a hill.

i did road test today and i pass after 4 time fail ..first i want to tell every one dont waist money with driving school ..they just take your money and teach u zero skills ..i change 2 different driving school ...and person that help me to pass is my husbant with zip car..he don't have long time that he drive but as he saw me fail so may time so he started to learn skills from KZbin and teach me..i am very anxious as person and as i am nurse one of my patient very anxious too tell me that that had the same problem and dr percribe some diazepam to help to reduce anxiety during the driving test..i did the same and yes its help me a little bit.. to pass that test first u have to be lucky enough to have good oficer driver that take u in test///last time i have some one that couldn't stop any moment show me every little mistake that i was doing and i was geting more anxious so i was keep doing more mistake ..at the and me and other student faill for the same reason ..i dont realy understand how we both made the same mistake...another time i forget to put my seat bell..keep in your mine..in driving test u have to be perfect ..not just regular driver..is ilegal to make guida to area that u are going to have test but go and chek are may be walking or with some one that drive...very important to be familiar with are because they not going to fine most easy place for u to do u turne or parking ..good luck every one

so you should take another test and dmv should read this, NOT drug, should be taken while driving. What will happen in a real emergency and that day you did not take diazepan? that you should do is go to therapist or work with yourself there are good book to help to cope with anxiety not need pills or drug

i took the test at this spot last year and i failed. it was so bad. looking back i deserved to fail and wasnt prepared and my driving instructer sucked and didnt teach me enough. im learning with a new driving school. im gonna take it again there and im honestly expecting to fail again but im gonna keep taking it until i get better and pass.

If you fail one day I think it’s best to go back the next day or at least 3 days later.

As far as havermayer as a location, it was easy af. A healthy amount of cars which is a good thing that way you have an idea on how traffic is moving etc but nothing felt wrong.

stephanie sanchez the streets are not bad at all. The area is not completely empty but the traffic is not bad, I would suggest going in the afternoon because mostly everyone is at work and not many people are on the roads. When you are reversing, stay looking back or they would take points off. Try to practice your parking before you go because it's 15 points for not parking properly or doing too many maneuvers. Feel confident in your judgement, if u are too nervous it will reflect on how you preform. Make sure you signal every single time you move lol, I got some points for missing 1 signal while switching my lanes. It doesn't last long, maybe 10 mins. I have the grade sheet if u want to see it, this way you know what to look out for
