Saw you have the SMR pufflo...should really try their Puffle Quilt. I no longer use sleeping bags. I have their 20° down quilt and their Pares hammock. Both are Fan-fricken-tastic. Also got the haven tent sent to me for review which I have yet to film.

Hey brother, am I mistaken, you have a NightCat Layflat also right? Would you do a video comparing and contrasting the two? Which you like better, why etc, please and thank you. God bless you.
@procaliberhq9 ай бұрын
I do have indeed have both. I'd have to find a space to set them up together but in short I defintely prefer this haven tent. With the sleeping pad it packs smaller and slightly lighter than the night cat and it sleeps better. I think it is very much worth the extra money
@BradKuns3 ай бұрын
Which one did you like the night cat or the heaven what do think for the price
@procaliberhq3 ай бұрын
If money is tight the nightcat is a very good options. I genuinely like both, and both sleep great. I think most people would prefer the Haven Hammock tent since its easier to setup and theres almost no risk of rolling the hammock. So if you're good with the higher price tag go with the haven hammock tent

Which do you like better; the Haven or the Night Cat and why? Do either one of them have condensation issues?
@procaliberhq6 ай бұрын
I didn't have an issue with condensation but I always used them in mostly open configurations. If you fully inclosed them or are in extremely humid conditions you'll get a small amount of condensation but no more or less than any other hammock or tent. And I think the haven tent is going to be the best fit for The vast majority of people.

Hey man, have you tried sleeping in this on the ground as a tent? I'm interested in this for its versatility and I'm curious to hear what people have experienced when not using it as a hammock
@procaliberhq4 ай бұрын
I have not done that yet. So far each time I've headed out to use this hammock tent I've went with the intention of using it as a hammock. But I'll definitely get around to using it on the ground. When I first used it, once the material and straps stretched overnight my hip area was touching the ground so that kinda counts haha
@DamienDrake23894 ай бұрын
@@procaliberhq haha nice, I thought it might count if that happens lol! I'd love yo hear what you think as I haven't found any video of someone using it as both for an extended amount of time and I'd love to hear some feedback!

@@procaliberhq I purposely go out in high wind storms and never got wet even blown sideways. Helene got under my tarp and split it but that was after a years use. do you have any idea what to spray on it to provide the material more protection from wear.
@procaliberhq25 күн бұрын
@chrishall8203 not much you can do to protect from general wear and tear. Putting water proofing spray can help slightly. Also using bungee cord or something that allows a bit of give and help prevent excess strain on the tarp

Could a 40 Pound dog fit in comfortably?
@procaliberhq8 ай бұрын
The weight limit for this base model is 275 so you should be fine. Theres plenty of room depending on how your dog would like to sleep in the hammock.

why do you southerners sleep with all your cloths on?
@procaliberhq3 ай бұрын
During the winter I prefer to sleep in my clothes because If I have to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom or deal with an unwanted animal I don't have to fool around with getting dressed. Its also nice to wake up and already be wearing warm clothes. If I'm at a campground or something I'll change out. But I sleep very comfortably in my clothes even with boots on, but I know that some people can't sleep unless they change into a set of night clothes.
