@Miss_USS_Liberty what "help" are you talking about? If you are trying to downplay or invalidate someones growth that is just itchy with a capital B. You aren't any less amazing because you have help. No matter your station in life. Being someone who continues to grow and learn with the time they have is an awesome trait no matter how much education you have or money. People still can choose not to grow and learn if they have money. People can choose to grow and learn if they are poor. If that is what you are saying.. you should learn to grow and learn as a person and choose not to tear others down for their accomplishments.

Everything you said in this video made me smile because it made me feel like I'm not alone in my struggles, (I know you didn't share that you're codependent and I don't assume you are, I'm just struggling with those same mental and emotional patterns). Thank you for speaking on your emotions in such a human level, I appreciate that about you. Hearing you describe your relationship with your brother and how you are still a sensitive little girl who wants to be included in her big brother's life, so adorable! One of the most often ignored or forgotten parts of a "relationship" is actually relating to the other person. Congratulations on your discoveries, your evolution and, :), your room mate. Thanks for sharing your journey.

Hey, Mayim! Yeeeeeah. I’m there with you. My brother told me the same thing...and I worshiped my brother...who still thinks I’m an idiot...and has no problem whatsoever telling me so (he prefers the phrase “emotionally unintelligent”, actually 😂). Also, as I have moved in with new roommates about three weeks ago, it’s kind of cool to see that many of the things I thought were irksome are kind of cool. I also vocalized that I was a tad melancholic that I felt like my roommates and I were “like ships passing in the night.” It’s been a bit nuts, but I will say that I am happy for this new phase in my life, and hearing you break it down so eloquently, Mayim, is pretty darn reassuring. So thanks. ☺️ Gotta love keen intellect. 😂 (Also, has that Dr. Amy Farah Fowler doll always been there? Looove it; want one lol. 😂)

I just couldn’t stop crying after watching this video! I too have always felt too much! Always had people telling me that I talke too much and too loud, was too enthusiastic etc. I have been insecure for my entire life and the talking was just a mask to hide that. The part where you tell about your friend helping you made me tear up! I had my person who made me feel better about myself since I ended up in her class at secondary school when I was 14! My best friend and soulmate Jess! I’ve been bullied a lot and she has always been my rock and greatest supporter in everything I did and wanted to do. She died of cervical cancer 22 September last year after 7 months of being extremely ill. 😢 Almost a year ago now and it still hurts so bad! She was my one person to go to, she understood me without words. We were so alike, never had a fight in the 17+ years of friendship that we had. It is hard trying to believe in myself without her rooting for me. I know she wants the best for me and am really trying to make the best of my life without her. Me seeing this video now is perfect timing! Seeing you opening up and me recognising the feeling you have/had about yourself makes me aware that I have to be nicer to myself and not let the negative thoughts take over! So thank you for putting it up here! ❤️😘

Everything you described is totally me. My brother too is four years older than me and when I was a kid I followed him around everywhere. I often think I'm more annoying than a duck in a tree. I tend to care deeply for people and that tends to make me take on their problems as my own. God has shown me a lot of ways to cope, but even still I get clingy and pray about my anxieties. But everything you were talking about is so true.
