Thanks for this video and all your wonderful videos. I would love to see and understand all the aspects of running a KZbin/Etsy business. I am interested in how you decide what to charge for the items you sell, do you have to declare these items on your taxes, shipping options and costs, listing sources, how you started your business. Yes, very helpful. Another avenue for selling - used book stores. I had an opportunity present itself for me to put a few of my journals in the friendly neighborhood used book store! Of course, this is totally too soon, because I'm still putting a few together for myself and my upcoming wedding =) However, it would be a fun way to promote myself, also. This was very helpful, and you have my admiration for your excellent organizational skills - Great job!

Thanks so much!! ;) I was having such a hard time managing my time now I see I just wasn't Planning Everything Well enough. I don't feel I would have gotten a sense of what's wrong or right until I saw your video, I just Love the packaging, extra gifts and awesome wrapping tissue you add into each order. 😍 That right there is Just way you are soo Cool. ;) I recently opened up ParadiseSweetShoppe, but am shifting towards also opening a graphics & stationary shop "Gemstones" I added Party Prints in the name incase there's a duplicate to focus on art prints, card, custom signs/banners, hand made accessories and much more. Your video was very informative on proper shop management. I get so easily overwhelmed, but I know I can use my time more efficiently now if I can plan for it ahead of time. :) Keep up the awesome work!

Hi there thanks for your vdo this was awesome! I just want to ask.. do you have a vdo or are u able to provide us more how you get your shipping labels? And pretty much more info on postage please. Everything you do that involves when you start packing to printing shipping labels to weighing, adding passenger details in an invoice and also what you actually do when you get to the post shop... love your vdos and products! So AWESOME!!! I got turned onto Poshmark when I started buyin Dr. Martens....the ones i ordered did not fit. Having spent so much $ on them. I "re-poshed" them to get some of my money back. After i did that, I started adding the beach glass stuff I make, the rings my boyfriend makes...and all the nice hoards I didn't want to throw away. THEN I started buying stuff to sell, now (even though I dont sell too frequently)...I STAY BUSY!!!! I didnt realize HOW MUCH WORK IT IS!!!! I am glad you linked your etsy. Everyone says I should do etsy, but it sounds like even more trouble. I'd rather sell less than to work harder. Then again, I'm not too thrilled with Posh 20% seller fee...although it has worked to my advantage one time when I sent two pair of shoes to the wrong buyers. Oh well, I'm rambling. Ill go check out your Etsy.

I use the uspo.com to order the boxes and mailers to be shipped to my house. It's free and I'm able to keep the stock at the house. When the post man delivers my mail, he also delivers my mailers for shipping products.

I'm new at selling on the net and my biggest aggreviation at the moment is trying to learn instagram, facebook and other social media. Its hard to learn how to use all these things.

Your products are really nice but alot of the materials for them you purchase retail - you do make much on top of the selling price because you don't charge a huge price for what you sell? I love these kinds of videos and would like to see more!

meezergurl I honestly haven't done the math to see how much is profit. That would be good to see. I do feel like I pay myself a fair hourly rate when pricing my items though and I'm happy with the prices. I did just book a cruise for my whole family with etsy money too!

I think you're doing great and it's wonderful to do what you love while staying home with your son-I loved those days! What helped me figure out the cost of things - outside of my time which tbh I never really charged enough for that - was to take say a roll of ribbon. Figure out how much per foot it cost and put a sticker on the roll with a price per foot. Do the same with other supplies. I found that I could quickly figure my costs and then mark the item up to what the market here would bear. I did the marking while watching TV etc so didn't seem a pain to do. Love your videos!!!

you can order those bubble mailers free from the post office {USPS.COM} and they will ship them free to you. I order free mailing box's and mailers all the time we ship almost daily and our post office rarely has supplies. We have a great mailman and he leaves the free boxes at the door when we are not here.
