6:43 Is literally everything I needed to know, much appreciated. I couldn't figure out what move was suppose to remove it and it seems by all indications you can't waste an interrupt on it on hard mode. I don't play momentum so I never look to closely at VR ability, more a mobility move for me. I was looking at netherwalk (obviously wouldn't work) and kept thinking about cleansed by flame, thinking maybe blizz screwed up and forgot that was a PVP move, meanwhile answer right below my nose the whole time

I've tried this a couple times on Tank DH, but i'll might give it a try on dps, now that i know dot is literally a slow aswell so you can just VR it off.

Did it as vengeance. Got it after around 20-25 attempts. Was quite challenging but the thing that pissed me off and caused alot of wipes was the platform behind where zekvir starts. I would get stuck on it or line of sight when jumping.

Just took him down after 39 tries as AR with ilvl 619. I didn't know VR dispels Enfeebling Spittle. Once I watched this I thought I'd go in and try and 39 rages later...BOOM!

Managed the ?? 2nd or 3rd week into expansion. As soon as I learned that I can remove the dot with Vengfull Retreat I killed it on first try

When I killed this I was getting so frustrated because I was doing all the mechanics and pacing out Brann's healing vials and yet no matter what I just rotted and died to attrition. When I realized that VR took off the poison dot it totally trivialized the encounter.

Yep, it’s pretty much the only way it’s possible! We’d be hard stuck if that didn’t remove poison

The hardest thing for me in ?? is dps’ing the eggs asap. Not just killing the egg before it hatches, but also while dodging a fear circle or cone aoe (no direct dps during this). I save eye beam for the egg but it’s not enough - I’ll add essence break to the egg, as you suggest here. Anything I should save for the egg? Maybe I need to review how to play inertia? I’m 610 currently. Also, when are good times to use meta?

If your eye beam isn’t enough you could try putting some talent points into blind fury

When I did this fight, I just remember getting mad with Brann every time he died... it took me like 5 or so pulls to realize he will rez himself after a short while... so many attempts wasted trying to rez the guy lol

I began playing in DF season 4. I'm ilvl 606 and killed zekvir on normal difficulty today after 8 tries. I finally figured out I can kick the spit on the 8th attempt and got the kill. I doubt I'll ever have a high enough ilvl for hard mode but your tip "its not a dps check its a mechanic fight" got me the kill. Thanks man. 😜😇 P.s. I still use manic grieftorch its just too OP lol

You get in with the defensive up, use ALL COOLDOWNS (so essentially your opener with meta) and kill the pack, then just wait 2 minutes for everything to be ready for the next pack. Boring AF but blizzard pretty much just ramped the numbers for those and didn't care.

Do u not have Blur talent that auto pops? Or the Bran defensives mentioned in this video? Even without the defensives Bran still uses “Emergency Supplies” which is a cheat death… I’ve never died to auto attacks in this fight…

@@The0nlyy No, I have Netherwalk and yes Brann is healer with the same stuff Jedith uses. I just die to simple autoattacks. Zekvir hits me for 2,5 million dmg and aver 2 hit from him is a 5M critt somehow.
