Loved those waterfalls tumbling down the high rugged cliffs and the misty valleys, almost looks unreal. Blue and jade waters sparkling like a jewel - beautiful.

Whow, the place of waterfalls, that is Hawaii, absolutely breath taking. Thanks so much Scott and John L for having me along for the ride. One day one day I will visit, and explore all those waterfalls.

Didn't watch this last night but viewing it now as I drink my morning cup of coffee. I have turned the sound of the TV thereby silencing Piers Morgan giving some hapless guest a hard time. This video is SO much more enjoyable, love the music too. To sum it up in a word ( think I'm learning to speak American) awesome !!! I really have to find a way of getting there without flying. It must be possible. Thanks John and Scott this filming from the air has been truly beautiful.

Brings back wonderful memories of a similar flight we took around the Big Island for our 40th wedding anniversary! We didn't record any of that flight. Now we can go back and watch your video Scott. Thank you and your flight crew for a great presentation.

I had to watch this again, today, I dont think people realize that Hawaii has this side. And I think this wild rolling rock and valley scenery is by far the best side. This is one of the best videos you have made, almost have tears in my eyes watching this spectacular land go by. Thanks you Scott.

Scott, you outdid yourself. Have been going to Kona for over 30 years, have never seen the coastline from the air. It is awesome, what a treat. I can only wonder how those who have built those homes on the ocean in the North got to the spot. Got to be their paradise. Thank you and John for taking the time to do this.

At 21:34....someday all this area will look fluted like the wet sides of Oahu and Kauai. All those streams have a unique freshwater fauna that are closely related to the marine species. Many to compete their life cycle produce larvae that drift down into the salt water which starts new growth and migrate back up stream . Loved the video, thanks John and Scott!

Pretty! Scott, where is the place where you put that you don't know what it is (towards the beginning)? The coordinates of the Kohala Radar (as per Google) are latitude 20.125389, longitude -155.777713 (basically going uphill from Kahua Ranch).

Thanks for the coordinates! Never would have looked there, that's off Mauna Kea Drive (other side to Aloha Estates), owned by the president (corporation) of PRIEST (MONK) OF BANG SAN HO TEMPLE YUN HWA DENOMINATION OF WORLD SOCIAL BUDDHISM. (For clarification: I meant the whole video was pretty, not that place, I think that place looks weird, I just wanted to know what it is, out of curiosity).
