@@cheriereevessperr2942 nope, there’s none! that jalousie windows will serve as the vent when you’re cooking! i also noticed the ceiling fan’s placement in the kitchen.. it’s between the gas range and the sink (5:37) looks so wrong! 🤔

Jealousies are popular in Hawaii because they allow for more airflow.

The one thing i would change is the window behind the cook surface. We all know the value of an easy to clean back spalsh and the multiple glass on the louvers being multiple levels makes what should be a simple task a pain in the okole.

Mike, Beautiful house! It looked like the louvred windows didn't have screens. Are there mosquitoes in this area? Nothing worse than that buzzing sound in your ear at night. Can you easily add screens to those windows? Otherwise it was just right and the wood finished added the right amount of warmth.

Sometimes old habits can be hard to break. I try to call it main bedroom, owner's suite, or primary suite, but occasionally it slips in there.

Not sure about the exact number but it's definitely more common in the newer subdivisions. They're pretty good about protecting things like views.
