Hawaii Travel Vlog Part 2 | Exploring Maui | Vegan, Plant-based

In May of 2018, at 6 weeks pregnant, we took a trip to the Hawaiian islands of Kauai and Maui. In Part 1, we took you with us as we traversed the diverse terrain of Kauai, and in Part 2, we're taking you with us as we explore Maui's beaches, dive deep, brave the Road to Hana, and eat some epic, tropical vegan food, luau included!
We like to EatMoveRest our best, even when we're on vacation! Travel doesn't have to leave you feeling drained and exhausted; we love to cook at our Airbnbs, shop at local farmer's markets, go for long runs to discover new places, and feel our best when we're away from home! Being plant-based was easy in Hawaii, thanks to the abundance of local tropical fruits, veggies, juice and smoothie bars, and vegan cafés. A vegan luau! Yes. Things are changing. About being yourself... Be you, but it's hard not to be with others who think the same as you. No one wants to constantly have to defend or explain yourself. I've given up on a number of friends because it's such a struggle. Nice that the two of you are of the same mind, at least about the food issue, and many other things, it seems. Easy to say, be inclusive, but when push comes to shove, most of us want to be around people who appreciate us as we are, and don't make it a big challenge to try to make us wrong or different. These are the difficulties of life. Hope you enjoyed the trip.

Me too I have a bad relationship with my dad. I spend years in denial trying to pretend and at 47 I am done. He has NPD and is very abusive he finds any opportunity to put me down, still as an adult, it will never stop. Recently he had heart surgery and we watched him abuse literally the entire hospital staff on his floor.
