Hawaii Vlog - May 2019 - Day 5 - The amazing Kualoa Ranch - real Jurassic Park!
We head to the amazing Kualoa Ranch for the Premier Movie Sites Tour which last 2.5 hours and visits movie filming locations for films such as Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, Kong, 50 First Dates, Lost and Hawaii 5-0. It was amazing!
After Kualoa Ranch we stop at Kualoa Regional Park for a quick dip in the beautiful sea.
We enjoy lunch at Taco Bell before more time at Kailua Beach Park and a shopping trip to Target.

It is called a dock. 😆A jetty helps breaks waves😀lol...It is like- Hoover or vacuum, lift or elevator! It is fun to learn the different words!!

I was at Dollywood on this day. Since it was Mother’s Day and threatening rain no one was in the park. So I was able to ride their new roller coaster with a 10 min wait.

try the 4 wheel atvs or utvs...went with our sons in '10 for the two hours tour (they offered 1 or 2 hours), and it was just so fun...guided tour in front so of course you cannot go too fast, though there are spots you can go about 20-25 mph...! that was fun and highly recommended...better than being in the a/c bus, or the open air bus.

I've never been there. I'm not sure how I feel about building and planting being done by non-native people. We make a hole for planting with an awl and mallet, as opposed to a shovel, so that nothing is taken away from the earth.

That's not true at all. We have our own farming practices. Cow and goat dairy, meats and fish, fruits and vegetables, nuts, spring and coconut water, coffee and sunflower are all things grown here. We were self-sustainable before colonization, and still are in many areas.
