I want to apply for the Hawaiian Airlines personal card and get the signup bonus. The terms state about the signup bonus: "You may not be eligible for this offer if you currently have or previously had an account with us in this program." I had this card 15 years ago and canceled it after two years. If I apply for the card and am not eligible for the bonus, will I get a warning before I hit the last "Apply" button? I am confused about whether the word "may" means maybe.

For some reason they are only offering me 25,000 bonus miles, know why that may be?

They're only offering me a 25,000 miles bonus instead of 60,000. Do you know why that might be?

You get the 80,000 if you get an in flight application that has a code on it.
