All these smiles, this charm, these girls so graceful and the lovely Hawaïan music makes me happy and, temporarily in peace with this troublesome and violent world around me during this pandemic period. Thank you for this enchanting moment.

I remember with fondness Manaola's grandmother, Mary Ann. We had the pleasure of hearing her sing many times. His mother, Nani and Auntie Lorna and Uncle sonny sound as good as ever and the dancers are exquisite. I remember being there when they won Wahine first places a few years back. If it weren't for videos like these, I would be so homesick, but these videos keep me cheerful and alive until I feel it is safe to travel again. Mahalo, Lim family. From Oakland CA 2022

Wishing the camera had focused on a view of the whole body v just the head and shoulders. The movements are so beautiful, and we missed it.
@theodorehensley89825 жыл бұрын
One thing that bothers be so much is the camera constantly moving from one shot to the other. Why don't they leave the camera focused at a distance so you can see the dancers and actually see the hula. This constant movement of the camera view is most disconcerting. When a person is watching this live they can see what is going on. But with this constant movement you cannot see the damce. What you can see is beautiful but it would be so much more if they didn't move the camera.
