HI - I don't even know your name, but I would like to add my thanks for this video (and video number 1). I never thought I would be able to play this on my uke - I am a 72 year old, who has played guitar for many years, but just come to the ukulele very recently. I can't yet play like you, but thanks to your vid, I am making a passable attempt at this lovely Harrison song. I look forward to trying lesson 3. Many thanks Mr Waluoob from HawaiiMusicSupply - great job!!

Thanks so much for teaching this, just picked up the uke in january, proud to be able learn music and with lots of pausing I was able to learn this song. Aloha from California! :D

can you also teach us on the extra strums and picks you did between the main notes?? plz.....
@TKHawaiianAZN14 жыл бұрын
Duuude thanks for the tutorial! I've been trying to learn this forever and you're lessons made me learn it in one day! XD
@gus7sa11 жыл бұрын
Everyone is complaining about how he teaches. Yes he improvises with the picking every time he plays but he shows us the jest of it (basic formations, chords and such). If you stick with it and pause to see the strings he plucks you can learn it in a day. It's not hard, just be patient. This is coming from someone who got his first ukulele a week ago. And it was the first song I learned, by the way.

Quit saying its confusing. Its not. Im a beginner 13 year old and I completely understood part 1. There are a couple things he added in, but I just improvised a little on the picking.

This tutorial got pretty great once I realized I could slow the video down to understand the finger picking more easily. I would HIGHLY recommend people watch the last minute and a half on .5 speed to get the finger picking right!

If you're using a soprano just play the high parts on octave down or leave them off. You can get it pretty close to where most people won't notice.

Lol for those who think that this guy isn't good at doing tutorials, I know at least 5 people that learned this song from this exact tutorial. And the important thing is tht you should have at least some experience playing the ukulele before learning something advanced like this. Dont think you can learn this as your first song
