My favourite site for Chinese Water Deer is Buckenham Marshes RSPB. It's pretty local for me and if the weather looks a bit dodgy I can observe and photograph the deer and water fowl right from my car. A walk along the Southern platform of Buckenham Railway Station offers really stable elevated position for a tripod. I enjoyed watching a kestrel using the platform lights as a dining table last year.
