sam pittman loves the hogs and he loves his players. hate him or love him, he bleeds razorback red. he wants these boys to succeed and enjoy the game. i am personally happy sam is staying so this coaching staff stays and can continue to improve. i have hope that petrino gets this offense figured out and twill can make a great defensive even better. we can be a competitive team next year if recruitment goes well. hope surgery goes well for coach pittman and GO HOGS!

Agree. There will be a few years where the schedule is just "brutal" with SEC opponents and toughest games away. But, 500 in conference and win the three out of conference games most if not every year is not beyond what our vision, talent, and coaching should deliver.

There is no more East or West SEC, pick a more reasonable schedule in 2025. Getting beat on every season due to one of the toughest schedules in the nation does you no good, if you only get half the wins. It’s obviously not working with recruiting, or if your too afraid to pull your QB when he is was having at outright bad start. Singleton could have given him a little head start.

Wrong on two counts. First, Arkansas is ALWAYS going to have a brutal schedule because it is called an SEC schedule. You can't do anything about that. And, if Hogs had pulled Green we most likely would have lost at least two touchdowns as Singleton would not have made the long TD run and hit the post corner passing TD.

Pittman staying after a 6-6 season and being 14-29 in the SEC is an insult to this fan base. I have been complaining about Pittman needing to be terminated since the mid pint of last season. I am sick of him. Next season is a much tougher schedule. The transfer portal is again going to be rough on this mediocre team. I doubt next season is five wins with Pittman. This is on Yurachek. This program winning means nothing to Yurachek.

Find another team then. This staff gives you the best chance to win. TWill gets he defense to play way above talent level and BP has players open already every play, Green just can't make the throws. But you keep this staff regardless if you want to win. Watch game breakdown from somebody that knows something. Defense would be top 5 if the offense didn't go 3 and our so much. And BP has only had less than a season to put in a 400 plus play offense. So if you want to win games going forward you keep Sam or you promote TWill. That's lead to success regardless of what you think about Pittman. He doesn't call plays or coach. So your argument is pointless. This staff is improving this team. You have miss st talent and they have 2 wins. You have 6. Auburn and Florida both get top 10 recruits and are doing worse. So learn something about football if you want to run the program

The last dozen years of which Pittman has been a big part of are far the worst of my over 60 years of being a Razorback fan. None of the coaches you mention have been impressive over this year. I don't mind seeing then all moving on. You forgot the always bad O-Line. Mateos fields an apparently ill prepared O-line against the SEC opponents every week, that is on Pittman. Those O-Line break downs keep Green distressed and the running game crippled. As I said, Pittman is responsible for that O-Line, even if you think Pittman does little more. That bad O-Line keeps Petrino's offense being blunted. Watch that O-Line look like a screen door against Missouri. Maybe another head coach might keep T-Will but he would probably go to Auburn. The sorry football of this year plus the previous four with Pittman gives be no faith in Pittman for next year. No matter who his assistant are.

BS. You think Florida doesn't have more talent than Arkansas. They get top 10 recruiting classes every year. Nobody has done less with more than Napier. They have way more talent. They decided to stand behind their coach and play hard. It's hard to get players to play for you when half the state is screaming fire the coach. Sam has won twice as many games as Napier and has got his teams to play above their talent every year. Including this team which has the same talent as miss st yet miss st won 2 games.

If you think play calling is the issue you have never watched a football game knowing what's going on. I suggest you watch games breakdown from somebody. Bobby Patrino has receivers running open on almost every play. Taylen Green just can't get the ball to them. But BP has only had less than a season to get a 400 play offense in place.

He focuses on one guy and if he's not open, TG either runs or gets sacked. TG is not our best QB on the team.

@@dmachog61 he may not be the best thrower on the team but the 40 plus yards scrambling for a td just makes him to dynamic for them to try Singleton. Green has something you cannot account for. He is not just fast he is probably the most elusive qb I've seen since Lamar Jackson. Jackson and almost all scrambling style QBs tend to target one receiver for some reason. So I'm not surprised he always throws to Armstrong. Singleton might win you a game Taylen doesn't but Taylen is directly responsible for our high 3rd down rate and it's enough of a game changer they think he gives them the best chance to win. Most QBs can drop back and throw a pass but one that can scramble 10 plus yards most of the time when the play breaks down is just too much of an X factor for BP to try other options. I don't think people realize just how many drives he keeps alive running for the first down. And until he can't run he is the option they are going with. I've never seen a QB take so long to get in a rhythm throwing. But I'm not exactly going to be upset if he develops another year under BP.

Another year with this playbook and they could react instead of thinking and that's the only way an o line is effective. If you have to think about where you are supposed to block your to late. They get mixed up a lot on blocking. I think Alabama has the same problem this year. Only 1 returning starter for most of the year really hurt the o line. And Blackstock being a complete bust

Taylen is horrible, there is not a game that he doesn't make bad decisions. He cant make reads fast enough. NIL & Transfer Portal is of the damn devil!! Nick Saban was spot on with his testimony before congress. Singleton makes more sound decisions, runs when its appropriate.He is hands and tails better than Taylen. Bobby Petrino had us 10 feet from a Natty and a Alabama/Nick Saban dynasty program. Even Houston Nutts years were a blast. We fired him and all but destroyed the program. We are just now starting to slide back out of the center of that toilet bowl the University put the football program in. I was at the LA Tech game. Bringing my kids to their first Hog game. If it weren't for all the during the game theatrics, it would have been a boring outting for them. There was nothing worth watching with our football team. Its just so sad. Let me say one other thing that is absolutely disgusting and beyind ridiculous to me and could make last night my last time to come to a game. 1 Beer, 1 Sprite, 1 bag of Skittles, and a hot dog, 35.00 dollars. Yet he doesn't want to talk about his job security because it might hurt recruiting? The soft media should be grilling him on his record and job performance and whether he is meeting expectations.
