Besides people somewhat unreasonable gripes about the series, the show did the KEY things it set out to do. Finally give Clint his respect as an MCU character. No longer sidelined to a bunch of powerful heroes stealing the screen time. Resolve the whole Ronin storyline. Introduce Kate Bishop, get her whole origin story covered, and get the audience to fall in love with her. Give us a solo outing for Yelena. Establish the key Kate & Yelena friendship that will surely be a focus in future shows or films. This was crucial. Finally deal with the loss both Clint and Yelena were suffering from in regards to Natasha. Introduce Echo. On this part they somewhat failed. They never even explained she has mimic powers. Just made her come across as a great fighter. Reintroduce Kingpin. I felt it was handled well. Kate didn't really beat him, just lucked out and knocked him out for a few minutes. Also, he's not dead. People are trippin' over that one scene. lol And the fun little Marvel easter eggs, the Agent 19/Mockingbird reveal for Clints wife. nice touch. Especially if she also helps train Kate. Plus Jack being The Swordsman. very nice. loved him. Anyway, ALL of that was tackled in a funny action-packed 6 part series. The series was fun, pretty low stakes, and really entertaining. While also getting all of things above achieved. I am 100% satisfied. Don't need every series to be a Wandavision or Loki. I still enjoyed this more than Falcon & the Winter Soldier. That one was special to me for other reasons, such as touching on some real life issues they normally avoid in MCU content. Plus Zemo. ;)

I’m so, so happy with what you talked about during the end of this reaction video. It seems these days people can’t be satisfied with anything anymore. Yesterday before I saw the episode I avoided social media as much as I could because of spoilers. As soon as I finished it though I wanted to see what people thought about it, and was amazed at the amount of negative responses to the Kingpin character. Of course he wasn’t as brutal as he was in the Netflix episodes, but seriously did anyone expect that to happen in this show? I loved this series, it has truly become my favorite Marvel show to date. And like you I don’t care about the negative responses anymore. It’s getting out of hand with people destroying movies and shows for no reasons at all lately. So kudos to you for pointing that out, and being reactors that truly and genuinely enjoy shows without nitpicking at things. THAT’s exactly why I love you guys and your channel so much! 😊

This series had no business being as good as it was. The MCU shows are cookin with grease baby 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Triple OG Kingpin took that first arrow like it was nothing, then he took the grapple arrow like “tf is this lil shit” and hit Kate bishop with a MK 11 enhanced move lol. Clint with that pristine German suplex was everything , I had to rewind a few times so I could laugh at Maya’s ex boyfriend (r.I.p) for betraying her badass. I need two things: 1. A Kate-Yelena movie. 2. For the movie to have a subplot involving the further adventures of Swordsman and the LARPers. If they follow the plot of Echo's story in the comic books, Kingpin is in the hospital and temporarily blinded. Also, in the comic books, she was Ronin before Clint was. I want to stress again how amazing Alaqua Cox was despite this being her first attempt at acting. They found her working in an Amazon warehouse or something.

hawkeye has been my favorite character ever since he was introduced so i may be biased when i say that out of all the d+ shows i feel that this series showed the most respect to its titular character. clint didn’t need saving from the new and improved characters; he was the one imparting knowledge and wisdom to them, the guiding force leading them on the path to heroism. they didn’t bastardize the character either and i am so so very happy about that plus, despite having the most star studded cast, clint was never taken out of the spotlight. it’s so good tho that i really really want a season 2 😭 one with clint still in it huhuhu his partnership with kate has the potential to be the stuff of legends. and now that yelena knows the truth, i wanna see her get guidance from clint too; just how natasha might have been guided when clint took her in. just imagine: yelena and kate bickering while clint looks on in either amusement or exasperation! great reaction as always!! you guys are my favorite because you show the utmost respect to these characters and the actors too!

Delightful reaction as always! And a special thank you to you calling out those who are so negative and sometimes insulting in the responses to questions that it gets oppressive for the rest of the Fandom. A few thoughts to share? The title "So this is Christmas" is brilliant because the real name of the song is "Happy Xmas (War is Over)." That plays out on the Clint/Yelana and to a degree the Clint/Maya narratives. I was laughing with you both, especially during the Kate/Yelana fight scene. Agree that this was a setup for the Echo story. He survives, and will be pissed. She's on the run, and will have to quickly find new allies and friends. Curious about something. Would you rather see a Kate/Yelana movie? Or a season 2?
