Arthur Brown (81 years old) and Dave Brock (82 years) represent true hippie spirit. I am deeply impressed how much fun and energy they still have during a live concert.

Wow! You never let us down when we are unable to attend these events! 25 minutes of brilliant footage from a concert played less than 24 hours ago! Thank you!!!!

@@angelofdeath098 I was HOPING you'd say that! And thank you for the sharing, it certainly makes me feel included when unable to be there in person. The band are certainly well served by the quality videos you post, they show them at their best.

Thanks for this. Great footage - better than mine - I was further back. What an absolutely stonking gig though. From start to finish and excellent support band. Thought it was a pretty heavy set. Loved it!

Why has nobody mentioned that at about 8:45 they break into "You Shouldn't Do that"? Grown men should cry....Seriously....Beautiful.

I saw Hawkwind and Stacia in 73 at Birmingham Odeon. Brilliant atmosphere, brilliant gig for those of us that were stoned. In Search of Space was the first album i ever bought,still love it and its amazing cover and booklet. For me,it all went downhill a bit after Space Ritual Alive in 1974,and loads of truly awful albums followed. This new line up sound good to me and i like the heavy sound,i hope Dave can continue in this groove for many years to come . Do not Panic xx

Hawkwind started recording Silver Machine in 1970... And they r still recording it
@myboythom9 ай бұрын
yeah it was sound enough as a hawkwind gig goes and i have been to many over the years starting in 1982 for definite although i think i saw them in 81 but the point was it was space ritual 50th so the reason my brethren and i travelled for a few hours was to see some kind of special deal,,,,,,,missed opportunity but i did enjoy myself as more due to being on a jolly with my bros than the actual gig

Arthur is 81is and sings and performs better then ever. in the royal albert hall, in front of hawkwind. best "intro" to hawkwind(wich socked me off after) i can imagine. i`m overwelmt tonight again about the night in the hall. But Arthur brown was great!!! right after this track he sang an outstanding solo, if i remember right...

Sorry, but yet another example of Dave Brock trying to squeeze the pips of what used to be a great band. Give it up Dave. As for the 50th Anniversary re-release of the original Space Ritual live CD. For £99. Someone's cashing in

If you went and didn't enjoy it, then perhaps you shouldn't have gone. If your comment is based solely on this video, then you should have gone and attended, it was a great night out. I met someone yesterday, not a huge Hawkwind fan and he was blown away by the show. Personally I think the RAH is a bit cavernous soundwise, but thats niot Hawkwinds fault and it does allow the light show to do its thing rather better than in a flatter auditorium.

Easy fixed don’t go to gigs and don’t buy stuff that’s being put out thousands of fans would disagree with you that’s the thing it’s your opinion only which means nish 🤣? So according to you they shouldn’t be putting out new box sets etc because they’ll earn money from it ?? Great logic that 🤦♂️🤦♂️😂😂
